Im 7 das out from surgery. Been cleared for pureed foods. shakes make me ill. Ive tryed several and mixing fruit n ice still makes me sick. My problem is im not loosing. Im walking as much as i can n still nothing... I feel like a failure.

Yeah n its more of a pulled muscle or tearing apart type pain. Not even my incision site.... But im only 5 days out so maybe its just me...

Im curious .... Is it possiable to to a D I Y type pre op diet instead of buyong all these shakes n such? Im sure if I do Id need to at least include the Protein Powder. Im just picky in taste n would hate to buy shakes n things Id hate to eat n cause a hick up in my process.... Anyone else?

I was told i need 6 mos of appts. For approval. N i made all my appointments at my 1st office visit never misding any. Till i went to one appointment n was told i missed 2 months! I was so mad as i went to ALL my appoibtment that the office made me. WELL apparently 2 appointments didnt count. They were at the office but not a weigh in appointment! How was i to know!? So i had to start over from the begining n i thought i was only 1 more appointment away till i was scheduled. They made the mistake by not schedualing me correctly n i thought it was all good. Moral of my story?? Please go by what the office tells u n make sute all ur appointments every month are weigh in appointments.

Good ideal thank u! Im concerned as the nutritionest at the office said id order my shakes n such from the office n i preferr not to. I think it will be cheaper for me to make as much as i can n add the protien powder..

Apparently I do already have a new dr.... apparently he left the office and another dr picked up his paitents with out out knowledge.....

@@snugelkin That sucks! I'm sorry you are dealing with this - it's hard enough when everything goes as planned. Contact your insurance and find out what you need to do to get back on track. I was told 6 months of supervised weight loss - but found out last month that this is not the case (hopefully someone didn't screw up that info). Find a great Bariatric Program in your area (with more than one physician) so you can get this done!! Stay strong!!!!

yes I was told 6 months of supervised weight loss but wasn't told that ment I had to see the dr every single month..... how was I to know that should of been made clear to me.

On so upset.... I thought today I'd be scheduling my weight loss surgery but nope. I found out I have to wait 6 dam months. I have to start all over! I've done everything right. But my stupid Dr quit his office n didn't tell any one. Plus I was told I had to wait 6 months but was never told I had to have a Dr visit every month to qualify !! I just want to give up. I can't get anything right. I hate my life. Not saying I'm gona kill myself so don't think that I'm just done trying. I can't get any help anyway

Your right sometimes I've caught myself not even wanting a coke but I had it opened out of habit before I even realized it. Sometimes I hate the taste but out of habit I drink it.

My appointment today is labeled pre surgical weight management. My previous appointments just said office visit. What's the difference?

I'm pre op. No date seat yet but tomorrow is my pre surgery visit (fingers crossed) I was told insurance waits 6 months n its been 8. I'm in Cincinnati Ohio. Looking to make a few friends.
