  1. Is anyone else freaking out about the Hair loss factor? Or does anyone have any input or advice about their experience with how much hair loss they've had. I've heard horror stories and I'm kinda panicking.

Also, I'm scared of the extra skin. I need to lose 80-90 lbs. I'm so scared I'm gonna be miserable after weight loss due to extra skin. Is there a good way to avoid a bunch of saggy skin? Any advice on either topic would be greatly appreciated!!

  2. It's so helpful to hear people who have had RNY or the sleeve assure us that it does get better. I had RNY on Monday and came home with a huge case of buyer's remorse. I had no idea what y'all meant by "head hunger" but I sure do now. My coping mechanism is gone. I feel scared and what used to comfort me was a full belly, not a tiny pouch that feels like it's bursting at the seams every time I drink 2oz of Protein each hour. I just keep thinking of my kids... the years of extra life and health I probably just earned... the confidence I'll feel and relationships I'll make as a result... The good stuff. Trying to drown out the fear, frustration, pain and food-as-a-crutch with the good stuff. [emoji4]

I had that head hunger SOOO bad... It made me angry. It does get easier. You have to find away to push through it. Because I'll tell you, it so bad with me I said "screw it, I can't do it" and I tried eating something (an egg of all things)... I chewed and chewed and chewed... And it was the worst pain almost immediately!!! Horrible. I learned my lesson!!! After trying to cheat, I completely ended my head hunger. I'm almost a month out and I'm still scared to ear anything... The pain was 10x's worse than surgery. It'll get better. Be head strong. Walk away from other when you see them eating. Try not to smell cooking food (that triggered my head hunger). It's tough, but I promise it goes away!! Stay strong. Lol
