Hi everyone! I have a question that I have heard a lot of different answers to, after my gastric sleeve surgery will my Mirena IUD birth control continue to be effective? Also, I am going in for surgery May 26th and I hope to be lighter than 340 lbs. When I go in, but on average how much weight can I expect to loose within the first year and does weight loss drastically slow down after year one? What have you sleevers done to maintain and continue to take weight off until your goal is reached? Thank you for all advice, I am nervous but very excited! Emily June
