I've been at a stall as well, its been 2 weeks and I'm also at 3 weeks post op. Seems to be normal......I was very bothered by it at first but it helps to read that I'm not the only one going through it......now I'm just waiting it out

Ur going to experience negativity but try not to take it personally, that's what they want. The negativity is in hopes that u will change ur mind bcuz they are jealous or just too afraid to do what u decided to do which is take back ur health and life. This happened to me and I'm sure many other people on this forum can agree. Stay strong, stand by ur decision and be OK with the fact that everyone is not going to support u the way u wish they would. Cherish the people in ur life that have genuine support and rock out! Once she sees ur success she's gonna jump on the bandwagon...... Good luck to u!I have made the decision after years of being overweight to have the sleeve, I'm 29, 5'4", and 245 (highest 270). My best friend, who is also severely over weight, is totally against surgery. She says people all look like big wrinkly messes after because of the skin, they gain the weight back and it's the easy way out. I disagree with all of this and know it's the best decision for me and my family.... I want to tell her I'm going through with it and have her be supportative but I don't know how, any suggestions??

Thank u soooooo much for the encouragementIt is very overwhelming in the beginning! You will get the hang of it! Promise! It just takes time. You are doing the best you can. Stay hydrated and get your Protein and learn to track and then it will eventually work itself out.

That happened to me at my consultation! I've been saying I'm 5'6 for years and found out I'm only 5'4 EVEN????So I have always said I was 5'4 ..."on a good day" but I decided I really wanted to know exactly how I am am...or am NOT! Lol
So I had my partner measure me......I'm 5'2 3/4..... not even 5'3...
Lol guess my BMI is a tad higher than I thought....anyone else not sure exactly how tall they are ??

I went from not eating enough to maybe eating too much? I started tracking my food today and Water intake. I've Neen doing great with fluids but I had to force my meals in and now I'm uncomfortabley full.....how many calories should my goal be? And is that including Protein drinks? This is so annoying to try and keep up with.......I'm 3 weeks post op and over it already

Hey everyone! Its my first time posting so bare with me..... I'm 3 weeks post op and experiencing a stall. I haven't lost anything in a week. From reading previous post I see that this is normal. Does anyone know exactly why? And how long does it typically last?
