i had my surgery n 6/12/08 i had a hiatal hernia but never new it

my d0c repaired it and i had n0 pr0blems he said it 0nly added

ab0ut 15min t the surgery i was getting ar0und in 0k in 3-4 days

i eat a can of tuna everyday with a little light mayo and relish, never had a problem until this friday 2 bites into it and i felt like i had a baseball stuck inside me i couldnt take a deep breath i started pbing and sliming for the 1st time, i was banded on 6/12/08 and have not had a fill yet. i have lost 40 lbs so far but hope i wont need a fill for a while. still losing pretty steady i was only stuck for about 10 mins but that was enough.

my doc said you need to use general because where they place the lap band is so close to the heart and do to the fact they fill your stomach up with gas and this is very uncomfortable they dont want to take a chance on you moving at all durning the surgery

im feeling pretty good now no problems unless i sneeze

not sure where you had your surgery but your diet and foods listed are the same as my list from my docs in maryland

i had my surgey on 6/12 the list my doctor gave allows me to have Tomato Soup on it. no cheese, but i take chicken noodle Soup and blend it it a blender and thats ok , yogart, strained cream Soups, so you are probally ok with the soup. not sure about the cheese. good luck

i have been living on protien shakes (3 to 4 aday), sugar free Jello & puding, broth, egg drop Soup, diet green tea, and lots of Water.< /p>

i get my band on the 12th also and ive been on the liquid diet for the last week not to bad now the first 2 days were tough. good luck. im getting nervous now a little but still looking forward to it
