I've read that you retain Fluid after surgery and the excess gas causes your weight to go up. Most have a big loss about 1 week post op.

My aunt just had the procedure done in April and she used Krause. He's the chief surgeon for the department and he's been doing this the longest of all the doctors. I learned that during the info session. Two more days until my eval! I just want to know what the next steps are after that.

Oh and I've met my deductible and co insurance for the year so mine is covered at 100%. I'm happy about that!

Hey ladies @@Candygyrl and @@diamondchic94! I'm from MI and going through RO Beaumont. My eval block is for 6/23. I'm ready to get this process started.
I also have BCBS so I don't have to wait 6 months due to my BMI. I plan on going with Krause.

I'm going through Beaumont royal oak. They offer block appointments ( all on one day) to see everyone however it's only allowed for certain insurances. I had BCBSM and was able to do block scheduling. Also because of my BMI I do not have to do the six-month weigh ins. I have another block appointment for July 28 and then I'll be set to meet the surgeon.
