hello, I had surgery 7 months ago and my last fill was 3 months ago. i was fine until just recently I cannot even get Water down. This has been going on for like 3 days. I called my doctor and he says I need to get an un fill. unfortunatly my doctor is 3, 000 miles away. Does anyone know a good- cheaper way to get an un fill in Philadelphia-area?

someone said I may need to go to the ER, but would my insurance cover it if I paid cash for the surgery?

I tried fillusa.com and they do not have any openings for a few days...

oh yeah all the time. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. I realized I had to have the surgery to do something drastic to keep me from yo- yo dieting. I would lose, then gain, then lose. Keep in mind you have to exericise as well. That is a huge key to your success, but it can be done! Good luck and your are not alone. Get the surgery- even if it means you have to pay for it yourself. Take out a loan, it will be the best investment ever and you will be so much happier...

hey does anyone have any problems with dairy post op? i was banded a week ago and my nutritionist said we could have drinkable yogurt on day 4 and milk on day 6 and Protein Shakes. I cant figure it out, but something is causing me to have diarrhaea. Has anyone else had this problem? Also the yogurt is the activta kind (well I have tried both) any comments?? anyone?

if you go to Mexico they dont require that. I know what you are thinking, but it is really safe and super clean and sanitized! I used to work in the ER and it was way better than our hospital! The staff is super nice and very knowlegeable. The doctor is Tijuana is the one that actually trained a lot of the doctors in the states. He had does a thousand of them! They speak english too!

hey! I know what you mean! I am feeling depressed too! I had my surgery last week and none of my clothes fit ( I am hoping it is because I am still swollen ) I am not eating all that much, but I just feel like I am gaining weight and since I am still on liquids too I cant turn to food for comfort. It sucks. I have just been crying all day long. I know things will get better, but I just started back on prozac today! hope it helps and we both will feel better ! )

wow! how come he let you have soft solids from day one? I have never heard of that. everyone I know and myself can only have liquids for 3 weeks....

YeS!! I hear you! I have just been banded and I am on liquids for the next 3 weeks. It sucks, but at least this will be the last time. Hang in thee. We are all in the same boat! :smile:
