I had my EDG today... Oh my goodness I am such a baby!!! I got all emotional and started with the feelings of how did I even get to this point. I am requesting something to take the edge off day of surgery, and I hope they will approve that. I am a super emotional person!!! Anyways on a funny note... I get it I think even adults sometimes are kids forever to their parents. I lost my mom @21 but I have an aunt who is very close to me like a 2nd mother and I'm not telling her I don't want to hear what she has to say it might just give me anxiety & make me nervous. Yep...same here! I am easily discouraged and it gives me anxiety so I just need to give him very limited information and remember I am doing this for me! I agree with the fact the Caffeine withdrawal is truly from my body's addiction to it, not from dehydration. I am going to try and start weaning off it, and start by buying the "half caf" and go from there. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Okay, so I have read all the suggested diet plans for post-op. This may seem silly, but I am most concerned with having to give up coffee. When I don't drink some form of coffee, I get terrible headaches. Did anyone drink coffee after surgery???
