  14. Hello all~ I am very new to this site, and I am not sure where it is most appropriate to post this, but I am wondering what was the determining factor for choosing the sleeve? I am really leaning towards the Band because I feel that if anything goes wrong, or if I have a strong aversion to it, it can be removed. Other options feel so permanent to me. When I went for the weight loss seminar they mentioned that they don't do many bands anymore, and this scares me. Can anyone provide any insight or guidance.... Greatly appreciated, Nicole
  15. Congratulations!!!! How long did it take for the approval? I am just starting this process and any info would be great:)
  16. Hey Meeshee, Congratulations on your upcoming procedure, wishing you all the best. I am meeting with the surgeon for a consult next week, and I am super excited to start the process. Can you tell me how long it took from the initial meeting, to scheduling the surgery? I have heard anywhere from 3-6 months depending on insurance. Any information you could share about your experiences prior to scheduling the surgery would be awesome! Thanks, Nicole
