I'm still in the trying everything out phase, but today i had the Chike Banana and OMG it was amazing! I'll warn you though, it was thick even after adding 12 oz of fairlife milk....otherwise i also liked Syntrax nectar Sweets chocolate Truffle. unjury was good too, but didn't sit well in my stomach. The only brands i haven't tried are Quest and Isopure.< /p>

At my work, my boss and HR said I did not need to give them any details or disclose anything beyond that i was having surgery. They were really going by the book and for that i was greatly thankful.

Mine did. I never answered the calls, and refused to call them back. I have a doctor, several in fact, why would i talk to a nurse from the insurance company?

I use protein2o. sometimes you can find it at Walmart, but i bought mine off Amazon. It has 15 g of Protein per 17oz bottle.

I did it! I got my sleeve this morning. I will say that the morning was rough due to all the gas pain. Not even morphine got rid if it!. But less than 8 hours later the pain is much better, due to walking and moving my arms.. I've walked the hall 4 times. And after a failed first attempt, i can keep down the ice chips! Im here overnight and can go home tomorrow if i can keep "breakfast" and "lunch" down. I had so many doubts, but right now I'm glad i did it, they've already taken me off Metformin, and i look forward to more NSVs!

Librarian Becky. I'm a librarian too, and I'm having my sleeve done Monday! My preop diet is 7 days, clear liquid only....it's been rough. But i keep thinking about the end goal.

My surgeon has a very strict clear liquid diet. No Protein shakes. For 1-2 weeks. I'm on day 4. And it's honestly tough, but i have not cheated.

My pulmonologist said that for my CPAP i needed to call him when i lose 10% of my weight to be re-evaluated on the pressure settings. Could it be that you've lost enough to where your current setting is too high..causing you to open your mouth which is drying you out?

I am also having surgery on the 25th. I took off the rest of the week, but just found out the doctor wants to see me one week post op, so I'll probably take one more day.

@@byebyebmi, I'm scheduled for the 25th too! Day two of my pre-op clear liquid diet and I'm hungry, but not starving. Just need to keep my mind busy.
