  1. Congratulations!! You will never regret this surgery. I had surgery April 2016 and weighed 330. I currently weigh 180. I love it. The best decision I made in my life. You will go through rough times but don't give up. You will look in the mirror and say wow. It's a wonderful journey.

  2. Lola,

Check this out. My sister and I got in an argument two days ago and she told me that I was worthless because I couldn't lose weight on my own and had to have surgery. I was mad and told her at least I had the right mind to change my life for the better. Her and I have struggled with our weight throughout or lives and I think she is probably mad that I went through with surgery. I have no regrets having surgery. It was the best decision of my life. Isn't it sad how family can be.

  3. Hello. My surgery date was April 11th. I am in my sixth week right now. You must make sure and eat enough Protein. My nut says three meals a day supplemented by two to three Snacks per day in between meals. Weight loss at this point is slow but gradual. I don't eat much carbs at this point. I am able to eat what I want but I have not added starches to my diet. Good luck with everything. Stay positive.

  4. Michael, I am new to this forum and new to the sleeve. My surgery date was 4/11/16. I was scared to make the step toward the sleeve. As you I was always involved in many sports. It just got to the point where I was active and my weigh never moved. I am 38 and my highest weight was 340. That was my active football lineman weight. Lol. I started my two week pre-op diet and lost at least 25 pounds in those two weeks. Mostly by cutting carbs but especially the calories. I even thought about backing out on surgery since my weight was finally going down. But I decided to see through my journey and had surgery. I am one week post op and am down to 288. So far I have no regrets and am here to answer any other questions you may have.
