  1. Okay I drank milk a few days ago about 1 hour afterwards I had mild stomach/intestinal pains. Thought it was just normal gas post surgery. Had eggs the next day and they did not sit well at all, intestinal pain. Drank a premiere Protein shake tonight for the first time post op And let's just say pain was horrendous and bipolar expulsion was the worst I've had in recent memory. So I am thinking milk and dairy at the moment is not my friend. My plan, and literature, says it can happen. Anybody else run into this issue? Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  11. Your stomach might not be ready yet. Take a few days off and try something different like the chicken or turkey meatball. Take a bite then wait a few minutes to see if it sits well. You may only get a bite or two before full at first. Hang in there Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  15. I never really thought about it but when you eat post surgery, at first you can only take a few bites. Do you just stop eating all together or wait 15 minutes and eat a little more? If you only take a few bites, how do you consume enough for sustaining life? I get the fact I have a lot of fat stores and I'm burning that off. Is that action of using your fat stores that thing that keeps you "living"? Am I over thinking this? Or just, suffering from fog brain? Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  19. All I know is it was sharp pain in my chest. Maybe it has to relate to the hiatal hernia repair. I sipped normal from the cup and was fine. I'm glad you can use it. I hate going to restaurants and drinking from the glass unless it's beer. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  20. I ventured out today for a change of pace. My waterbottle broke while i was out so I got a cup of unsweetened tea in a cup. I absent mindedly popped a straw in. The pain I felt in my chest was bad. I could figure out why for a minute . Moral of the story : straw = pain Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  24. Now that I had some rest and the hubster realized that I am more down than he thought, I feel emotionally a bit better. He is always overwhelmed with something for work. It is thw nature of the business. I was supposed to help him out however that wasn't working out for this time period. I slept most of the day today and kinda shut everything down. My husband is a really good God loving man. I just think he didn't and to a point still doesn't get what has happened and the upheaval my body is in. I can't fault him for that rationally because he isn't going through it. I do appreciate all your thoughts, and advice. This is a tough process. ???????? 25. Thank you. I'm just tired and frustrated. I'm looking forward to feeling normal and processing things better Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
