    Vent of frustration

Now that I had some rest and the hubster realized that I am more down than he thought, I feel emotionally a bit better. He is always overwhelmed with something for work. It is thw nature of the business. I was supposed to help him out however that wasn't working out for this time period. I slept most of the day today and kinda shut everything down. My husband is a really good God loving man. I just think he didn't and to a point still doesn't get what has happened and the upheaval my body is in. I can't fault him for that rationally because he isn't going through it. I do appreciate all your thoughts, and advice. This is a tough process. ???????? Vent of frustration

He is overweight but athletic. Maybe he is insecure of the upcoming changes. I think he was cautiously optimistic on this whole process because I've always started strong on things then ultimately fail (diet wise) I've had a couple of other surgeries which incapacitated me for days and weeks so this isn't a foreign concept. On needing help, I've done much on my own and only ask for help if I was seriously in need. I'm going to try and talk with him again. Maybe I'm over reacting owever I do notice since surgery he is very different. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

    Disappointed in myself

Don't be too hard on yourself. Pick yourself up and finish strong. Definately don't eat anything in the 48 hours, before. I slipped up before surgery. I felt bad, I fussed about it and then I moved forward. If you dwell, you can sabotage yourself. Hang in there! Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Why are you vomiting though? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I do. I pace myself. Do something rest. It seems like the more activity I have the better I feel. I even ventured out to a restaurant for dinner last night. Loved my soup minus the the chunks. 12. Why does drinking Water feel like I'm swallowing razor blades? I'm taking small sips, hot cold, room temp. It hurts. broth Milk protien shakes strained Soups don't hurt. Have any of you had this issue? I'm 4 days out. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  13. Hang in there. I was sleeved Monday too. It will get better. Today was a good day for me. Remember sip slow, it can take a little bit to ramp the fluids. As long as you keep peeing and drinking, you should be ok. As you heal, your Fluid intake will increase. My dr said don't worry about poopping. It can take up to 10 days. Obviously if you are in pain that's different. I am by no means an expert but this is what I've learned so far Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

    When does this get better

Try liquids at different temps - it might help. broth, tea, sf popsicles, crystal light, infused water - try different things and see what you can tolerate better. You need to stay hydrated or you'll end up back in the hospital!I'm going to Rita Italian Ice later. Its one of the few sugar free things I can eat without stomach cramps and headaches. Thank you for the suggestions. I am trying different tempts and liquids. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

    When does this get better

Today is a little bit better. I can't take the Vitamins I bought. I found a sample packages of Bariatric fusion softchews and I can tolerate that much better. Sipping Water isn't going so well. I've managed to sip 1/2 of a Protein shake. Hopefully I can get more in. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
