    Did I make a mistake?

Oh and yeah I still have those feelings but they are not as strong. I am eating real food which really boosted my morale.

    Did I make a mistake?

Hang in there. I'm about 5 weeks out. I ran the whole gamut of emotions for pretty much the first 2.5 weeks. From excited to pissed off to upset to questioning everything. This first part can suck. Just go day by day. Get in a routine on when to eat and drink. If you aren't up to your plans protein/ water guidelines, keep adding to your routine slow and steady. You will get to better days. On lifting your spirits? Do something special for your self, get a manicure or pedicure, buy a new pair of shoes sit in the sun shine take a walk, color in a book, mediation get you hair cut, massage ( professional or by your SO) soak in a tub if you are allowed. Pick some flowers or buy a bouquet of flowers, take a drive. Play some slots, take some citrus type fruit , cinnamon and slow cooker it on the stove to make the house smell good. Citrus can be up lifting. Just find an activity that you enjoy and do it even if you feel crappie. Get out of the house it can really change your mood.

    Unflavored protein

Genepro, mixes good hot cold and in foods
  4. I agree with ProkChopExpress. Call you surgeon. It could be nothing but you don't want to risk it being something. Good luck!
  5. I'm at a loss on how to track food when I am taking 3 or 4 bites? I don't know how to track that little of food. If I dish out 1 or 2 Oz but hardly eat any how do I calculate that? Do I reweigh it? When I'm out, just guess?

    Food Tracking Confusion

Typically I don't finish it the same day. I take my bites then put it away. I'm still training myself not to be grazing all day. It's a tough habit to break. If it's a dairy products, I either pitch it or my husband will finish it.

    I hate water!

Water hurts again when I drink it. It's frustrating. IT doesn't matter what temperature it is or if it has flavored additives or fruits.

  13. Ha I just saw your refinement of your question.
  14. Personally I wouldn't feel the need to explain myself on how I dropped weight. Basically I'd leave it at I lost a lot of weight. I'm not ashamed of having the surgery. I just don't feel it's necessary to explain away. It's not like it changes who you are or how you function. I am married so I am not in your shoes. This is just my thoughts.

    Help!

First of all, here's a virtual hug ???? I feel your pain. The early days right after surgery, I fought thoughts of what the hell did I just do. Water didn't sit well, couldn't drink any shakes, and had an unrelated infection. It got better. I haven't really wanted to eat yet. I just know my sugar dropping so I need a few bites to keep me going. I'm only 4 weeks out. I am 30 lbs down in that time which spurs me on. I felt better around the end of week 2. See if you can find a local support group that can help. Hugs, again and I hope you feel better soon
  16. I did it in the shower after about 5 minutes. Removing anything stuck with adhesive on your skin will be uncomfortable. Or have another person yank it of quickly lol get it over with!

    Different tolerance on different days?

Yes... I thought I was going nuts. It is very frustrating. I like keeping my breakfasts and lunches relatively the same each day and eat a varied dinner. I can't quite do that at the moment
  18. I'm only 4 weeks out and I would do it again in a heart beat. Even though I complained about some stuff, struggling a bit, I already see positive changes in my body and my mind.

    Problems with SF drinks

I have issues with sf. I just drink tea v8 arnie Palmer half and half lite tea, g2, occasionally water ( hurts my stomach at any temp)
  20. Currently I am on the boarder line of a large and extra large for a top. My boobs are holding me back. Lol is it Jinxing myself to go with the smaller size in a jacket? It's a great deal like 1/4 of the original price. I guess I'm insecure on this working. I don't know why I get so much anxiety over getting excited over things or looking forward to better things. (hence keeping up with therapy). I'm trying to be frugal too and not buy alot during the dropping weight or I'll go broke. It's a petty problem but I wanted to see your opinions.

    Rice?

When did you all try to do Rice? Or is that a no-no until you hit goal weight (or forever)? I love Brown rice but I can't find it in my literature from my Surgeon or Nutritionist. (I will ask them when I see them next week)
