?Birthers? ? Patriots or Racists?

It's all about the Gormagog. -
I've moon-walked a mile in his shoes. Does that count?

Brandy, to address your concerns: 1) don't be concerned. I polled 100 men and all of them agreed it would be an acceptable Meal Replacement option. 2) If you want the full nutritional value, you have to read the label. On most men, it's right above the bar code. 3) serving size is roughly 20 oz. (I'm just speaking from personal experience here), but the delivery pressure may vary. Hope I was able to help.

My hospital still keeps the X-Ray of a guy that came in complaining of rectal pain. X-rays revealed 3 small potatos (we call them "new potatos" here in the south) jammed up his backside. They extracted with forceps (basically medical pliers)!! Ouch!! Originally Posted by plain What's a "biscuit" post? Is it anything like a dickfer? just my wacky laura lingo. Thank you folks, I'll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waitresses.....

Oh, so you got my text?:biggrin:

The medical part of me thinks that the science just doesn't add up with some of the claims....but the pragmatic part thinks that if somebody gets relief from them, great.

Well....I think I've made my point. You know, you're in this for the long haul. So chill....so far you've done very well. First of all, send me the address of that party. I have a "Little Bo Peep" outfit and 2 cans of crisco, so I'm good to go. You know, sometimes I wonder if these are joke posts. Can people really be that stupid? Ok, what's up with this burning sensation when I pee? I usually stick an assortment of tinsel, bows and confetti in my underwear before I drive. I figure it'll be a nice surprise for the medical staff if I'm involved in a MVA. Isn't that why they call it a "crack pipe"?

Ok, so now the problem will get even worse. More business and jobs going overseas. It's ok though, we'll just blame Bush when the unemployment rates top 11%. Then why isn't he? Jobless rate is climbing fast and the only jobs the government is creating are temporary jobs. BJean, the government cannot create jobs as a viable plan. It just doesn't work. Of course, all the democrats already do this, right? Maybe they can persuade the rest of the world to adhere to President Obama's proposed can & trade policy? -

Kartman, I can't get youtube @ work so I couldn't follow all the links (I saw the article on Limbaugh). Where is the Fox connection? Which show / hosts are still raising a big ruckus about this? I watch Fox news quite a bit and I haven't heard any of this mentioned since the election. To answer your question, only idiots still consider this an issue. Probably the same idiots that think 911 was an inside job. The downfall of any conspiracy theory is that it assumes a large group of people can / would keep a secret. Really, if somebody could prove Obama wasn't a citizen, don't you think that would come out? Same with 911. Same with the illuminati (sp) secretly running the world. Same with every other conspiracy theory. Now in the case of Lindbaugh, I think he's just pandering to his audience. He is an "entertainer" after all. Not much different from what Olbermann does. -
Which is why tort reform is so important to this current healthcare crisis. But.....not really. At least for most hospitals. The primary source of income for general hospitals (by that I mean not "specialized" ones like heart hospitals, cancer centers, etc) is medicare. And medicare reimbursement doesn't cover the costs of the hospital. So while the payment is technically procedure-based, the implication that hospitals are making out like bandits is false. Most hospitals lose money on Medicare patients (which no doubt contributes a little to the gouging of private insurance payments). So really, the two issues are connected.....if hospitals (as well as docs) didn't fear stupid litigation so much, less tests would be ordered. I'll be totally honest and say I don't know the answer. I agree massive reform and regulation of the insurance industry is needed. But President Obama's bill is bad. It doesn't address any of these things, and it'll bankrupt us in the process.

#3 says more about the shooter's poor planning and bullet rationing skills than about the melee skills of the kid. EVERYbody knows ya gotta PACE yourself.

WTF? THAT's what they base your "combative attitude" label on? I would have laughed out loud at that and them told them they could probably use tarot cards to get a much more accurate read. Try saying your "ABC's" during your next loud burp. I'm willing to bet your bosses AND your employees will be impressed. What's a "biscuit" post? Is it anything like a dickfer? What will it take for me to get you in this car TODAY? I'll have to check with my manager on that.....lmao!! Oh yeah!! *followed by creepy laugh* Just to play devil's advocate, how sure are you that the bigBoss is getting an accurate picture of the situation? Could it be that the littleBoss is manipulating him via "poison whispers"? Yeah, I'm deeply suspicious of runners. Do. Not. Trust. They're the type that would kick a puppy, or kill a drifter for sport.....

Of course they do dear. After they straighten out the mistakes that the bad ol' republicans make, right? Nope. They will, however, make them either shift their operations overseas where labor and taxes are cheaper (putting more Americans out of work), or raise prices to compensate for the increased cost. That's the fallacy of taxing business heavily. Do you really think they'll just eat the increased taxes, or do you think the cost of living will skyrocket dramatically? BJ, you're a business owner....what would you do if your business costs increased (say they doubled)? Increase your prices or watch your business crumble? Yup. Blame it on the republicans. That'll make everything ALL better. -
Ok, so this isn't really a "recipe" per se, but I eat this for Breakfast (the most important meal because it kick starts our metabolism). I know a lot of people have trouble with breakfast.....this goes down very easy cheese Grits and sausage microwave 1 MorningStar veggie "sausage" patty for 30 sec crumble into pieces In a bowl open 2 packs of Quaker Cheddar Cheese grits add 1 cup Water add the crumbled "sausage" Mix well and microwave for 3 minutes 6 g fat 13 g Protein 280 calories Note* I manage my band very conservatively, and my portion sizes show it. Also, I work out regularly. If you are very tight, or not active, you can tailor the portion size to your individual needs. It's very tasty and takes only about 5 mins to make. Give it a try!

Why would first BF contact me after so many years?
plain replied to betrthnever's topic in The Gals' Room
Because sometimes it works. I had a friend in college that would straight up just start asking girls for sex. When I called him on it, he explained that it was a numbers game. Even if he got turned down 99% of the time, asking 1000 girls got him sex with 10 (I just threw the stat in to clarify my point...he wasn't smart enough to give me numbers, lol). Most of the times I was his wingman, he got turned down (and sometimes slapped) with this approach, but you know what? He still scored more than I did. -
I thought Snape was one of the most tragic figures in the series. Without spoiling anything for those that don't know how things end, I think Snape symbolizes the redemption theme more than any other character (even Harry).

You know what? I understand your elation. I have weird happy moments like this all the time. You are totally correct in that you're in this for the long haul. I firmly believe that we all must find our own balance. Great job!

Don't you love how the higher ups schedule meetings respecting the hours of the night workers? Don't you wish you could schedule a meeting at, say, 0300, and see how THEY like it? Lu's right, it's officially summer here in Texas. I saw a road worker catch on fire today. It's that hot. Yay! I only have a short grace period until she's as disgusted and creeped out by me as the rest of you are!!

Far be it from me to poke fun at a severe MVA trauma (although I certainly have in the past), but I blogged about a very funny experience I had trying to draw ABG's on a pretty bad trauma pt on MySpace. When I get home, I might cut and paste it to my blog on here.

Well, tracy, this might sound a little harsh (I don't intend it to be), but if you're not ABSOLUTELY certain that the band is the operation for you, don't do it. I love my band.....but there is a lot of work that goes into it. I guess my advice would be: if in doubt, postpone and keep researching all surgeries until you you are absolutely certain that a particular surgery (if any) is for you. Good luck on your journey!
