Hi Amy. Good luck on the surgeries. The one thing I would suggest is to re-think having the surgeries on the same day (especially if y'all have a family to care for). It might work out fine for you both, but there is a healing period where you both will be pretty sore. I'm not saying don't do it, just to think about it. Let us know how it goes!!

If President Obama is talking about making drastic medicare cuts (and he is) it only makes sense that these cuts will be felt by elderly patients in the form of denial of care. That must have been pretty scary....a dude carrying around an assault rifle to a town hall meeting. He must have been arrested, right? Oh! So what will the illegals do for their medical care? Will they continue to utilize the ER's? And wasn't that one of President Obama's main reasons for healthcare reform?
