  1. At over 7 months, it is starting to be hard work ...... much longer stalls, don't lose as fast ...... The 19Ib (9 kg) left, starts to be a challenge. Stepping up exercise, still eat the same food and same portion size .... The honeymoon is definitely over ..... Now the drive to get to goal is stronger.
  2. @@Thucydides Mega Congratulations! Well Done !!! Half the man and double the healthy spunk! Woohoo
  3. I did sweat a lot, and I live in a very hot and humid climate. It was awful. Most of my sweating though was due to my hyper-active thyroid. After thyroid treatment and WLS, I am finally starting to feel cooler. I love it!
  4. I have a slice of rock melon and water melon, with either Chobani yoghurt and vanilla essence and cinnamon, or bit of custard. This satisfies my sweet craving. I've learnt that I can't have a bit of ice-cream or even frozen yoghurt, as I then want more of those ..... At times, I have something salty instead, like chicken broth with a teaspoon of sesame oil, and this kills my sweet craving.
  5. I never tried it during puree stage, or even now. I was told by my dietician that the purees have to be runny enough to roll off the spoon. Perhaps if you mixed it with runny yoghurt and blasted it in the NutriBullet, it could possibly work. However, a good Protein powder added to Chobani yoghurt will give you about 35g for 1/2 cup serve.
  6. Zofran is for nausea. When acid is coming back up the oesophagus and throat, this calls for a strong PPI, but always check with your doctor/surgeon first.
  7. Are you willing to travel ???

  12. ?? Do you have to be on a computer to see that? I've only used my phone with this application and now I think maybe I'm Missing a lot of features, eh? Sent from my LGLS992 using the BariatricPal App Me too...I don't see that option Sent from my SCH-S968C using the BariatricPal App You are both right! I just went on my phone and used the app, and I could not find it either! I could not see it on the profile , and could not find any sections for adding a friend ...... I use my computer more than the app, so I gave you computer tips. There is a section on BP for technical support, perhaps you can ask there, or Ask re adding Friends on the app on your Status Update. Or, tag Alex and ask him. Let us know what to do, as there must be quite a few members who mainly use the app, and come across this. Good luck!
  13. Just give them Fugu fish, it will eat the crap out of any carp ......
  14. Yes, I am finding Goggle and YouTube playing up often these days. Google owns YouTube, and it is tad annoying when both don't work at times. Google just had a new version/update recently, and since then some issues have come up ..... I tried these sites both on my Mac and PC, and iPad, and the result was the same ..... stuff ups!
  15. At 7 months post op, I love plain Water with little diet lemonade added to it (apple juice as an add on is too acidic for me), green tea, and coffee. I am really happy to be able to guzzle water now

  18. I have a problem with my laptop sometimes and FIEND was not intended nor funny. It was funny to me Laptops, iPads and phones have some interesting, un-intended typos ..... Lucky I checked at times, as one time one of my words came up as "naked"! Completely out of context. I forget which word I was actually meaning to type, but quickly got rid of "naked". I actually removed the auto-correct from iPad .....
