  1. WHOOP WHOOP!!!

I am now T-minus 4-5 weeks till surgery!!!

Met the surgeon today, they are sending all my paperwork to the insurance company and we will have that back in 2 weeks, then another week and a half or two till surgery!!

Loved seeing him and when he asked if I had any questions and concerns about the operation. I told him that I've already watched the entire procedure on YouTube 3 times and know what to expect afterwards. That I'm not afraid and ready to go.

He said he only wished he had more folks who had done their homework.

I was in and out of his office in 10 minutes.

    Dammit that was easy!

After the insurance comes back I'll have the endoscopy and sonagram but other than that it is all good to go!!

    I can't wait to melt away! ;)

  2. Kindle, we LOVE ours and can not sleep on anything else. Ours is a soft sided waterbed. It orignally had individual tubes but when we moved 2 years ago we bought a new king sized motionless bladder. It is even better !

Yes, it sucks that No one carries the things and you have to order online with out getting to test the different levels of motion on the mattress before buying them.

We are in Florida and haven't ever used a heater on ours. It stays about the ambient temperature of the house.

In the winter time we put an old comforter down between the sheet and mattress pad. I took a king comforter and cut it down do its the size of the mattress and then sewed it back up. Then we just put the fitted sheet over top. Works like a champ!

I am physically okay other than being fat!! ;)

I have worked 4 hours on a broken foot, 6 on a ankle woth a hairline fracture and drove myself home after my vasectomy while I had the broken foot and was in a cast with my broken foot sitting g in the passenger seat of the wife's car. (That was freaking fun)

Okay, so just a couple days then. Thanks all!!

  4. I was sleeved 7 weeks ago, and combined with my pre-surgery weight loss, I am dowm 72 pounds. I had a great experience a couple nights ago. My wife was handling business down there, I couldn't believe I could actually see what I had. But even better, my wife realizing that I could see her decided to put on a show, never breaking eye contact. I have been with my wife nearly 25 years, and I never realized what a little $lu+ she is! ; ) For that alone, my sleeve was worth it! Can't wait to see what is still to come!

    Winning!!!

  5. Started out on the 22nd floor at work and walked down 2 flights, then back up one. I did that from 22 down to 14. So, 2 down and one up. Then 14 straight down. That was Friday night. I still can't hardly walk!! It hurts but it's a good hurt. No pain no gain right ! Hopefully by Tuesday I'll be able to hit them again. But.... not so many floor back up. :)

    Baby steps.

  6. My fitbit charge HR is Water PROOF.

It was ordered from Amazon and came with all of the documentation telling about how it is waterproof. I have worn it three times a week swimming since Valentines' Day without incident.

I do not know what you read but via Fitbit own website they say to NOT swim with it. It is Water and splash resistant only.

    Read the specs on it.
