  1. 2 nights for me. Now two weeks post-op and I have no energy at all. Mentally and physically drained. No pain just exhausted. It's very hard to get in fluids because I just feel sick to my stomach. I'm happy that I am not at work right now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  4. Just experienced this today. My sex drive has gone up since post-op but sex is difficult. No real scaring or wounds. My openings look more like scratches. So I felt comfortable giving it a try but it was not a good plan. Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Sorry. I don't know what that is. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Proud2beme.... That's my progression as well and I am 1 week post op. I have not vomited even once. But I want food... Smh! I drank Lyft Protein waters mostly and now EAS Advantage Protein shakes and chicken broth. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I just started the Vitamin patch. But I think Celebrate is pretty good. Taste is not bad and dissolves quickly. I love Wonderlabs as well. I use there B12 mix which has Biotin and other needed Vitamins in it. Very inexpensive and actually taste good. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. I understand. I'm not hungry but I have cravings for pizza. It's on TV every minute. Then I think about how I don't want to think of food as my enemy. One day I hope to enjoy food again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Ok! So Mr. Regret has finally paid me a visit. Post surgery recovery has been ok. 1 week now since my surgery and if I could do it over... I would decline. food was such a part of my life. I miss dinner with my family and feeling like a freak. I feel heart burn even after drinking Water. Finally had sex with my husband and it really doesn't feel the same. Quite awkward and a little painful. We actually had to stop and think about birth control! I know I will get past this stage but as an Executive in the business world I feel like I should have been able to beat this thing they call obesity! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I thought the same when reading the post. My surgeon was just recognized as one of the best Bariatric surgeons in the US and I found myself questioning him about all the other surgeon and NUT advice from this forum. I was terrified and almost called it off 1 week pre-op. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Most of my family live 1000's of miles away. I decided not to tell anyone because I have the most negative and annoying family members. I was on a public weight loss journey before the surgery and so I figured they would just think it was from that journey. I literally decided to lose weight in November and lost 20 pounds by the new year. I had my first consult for WLS on 1/7/2016 and was approved 3/23/2016. Surgery was 4/5/2016. I didn't even tell my 24 year old daughters who o am very close to. Only me and my husband know of my WLS. I'm not ashamed but I need support and not interviews or negative comments. When I first talked about it... I got " your crazy and your not that fat!" Size 22, 6 feet tall and 342 pounds is fat! I had health issues and felt ashamed that I had gained over 200 pounds in 20 years. Anyone else decide to keep WLS to restricted people in their lives? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  18. The night of surgery was tough due to the anesthesia and just being in the hospital. Stayed two nights due to elevated blood pressure. No Pain and No vomiting Gas at a minimum Only issue was reflux but I called my surgeon and he ordered liquid EX strength Zantac which has been a miracle. Also ordered a mixture called white slider which has kept me regular and able to tolerate my BP tablets crushed. I can walk just as well as I did prior to surgery. Back driving and looking forward to swimming when cleared. 5 days and 8 more pounds down. No Hunger pains yet but I would love some yogurt! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. My surgery was April 5th too. I am now up to 40 ounces of liquid per day and another 6oz in Protein shake. I tend to tolerate the liquid better if its cold. I still have no desire to eat. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Tea and Water are my best friends right now. I've been walking in my subdivision and it's been great. My husband has been great. Both of us being nurses is helpful as well.
