not sure if im replying right we will see but i called the dr and he said the same thing that it was gas under diaphram told me to take extra gas ex which i have and out a heatin gpad on my chest which i did and boy am i tooting LOL and its claming down a bit he also gave me his home phone # in case it didnt feel any better ! Thank you for your post i love it here i check in every day and have for a while now jsut reading the post and the answers has helped me thru the pre and the post of this journey! Well i was all set to go intoday or tomarrow but insurance comapny at last min sent in a denial on the grounds that Because my doctors office burnt to the ground with every ones records i have no paper trail for the last 5 years let alone 12 months so it is up to me to go back to all my old insurances and get any kind of records i can get my hands on ... my doctor wrote the insurance company a letter stating that he has been my doctor for the last 5 years and everything he has seen and taken care of me for but i guess it fell on def ears! as of jan 1st i again will have a new insurance company i guess i will try again with the new one and see what happens.. right now im so depressed and dicouraged -my SO says no worries honie lets pretend you got it done and follow the bandster rules together he is so sweet ... so untill i get this resolved that is what we plan to do i have been on liquids for 2 weeks and have lost 15 pounds i got rid of my diet coke addiction almost quit smoking down to 4 a day and i really dont have the hunger pains any more he has been a life saver i met him on net a few years ago and in that time have lost on my own 130 pounds but stayed there for the last 2 years but no more lost till now so maybe this is the kick in the ass i needed and with him in my life now maybe i can make it! and keep it off . my life is so different now then it was before i have things to look forward to and have been so happy it is almost sick LOL yeah i have health problems but maybe with this board and his help i can really beat this ! thsank you for all your support thru this and maybe one day i can really be a memeber! huggs michelle

went in for my first office visit with loads of paper work i hand this morning and they are soo nice there!!!!!!!!!!!!! they called insurance got pre oth and they were faxing the whole thing as i was leaving i was approved my date is the 14th of dec he is lettting me get in as soon as possible because my dedtuctabe is met for this year and is going way up next year ! what a sweat heart! i cant tell you how excited i am ! i start liquid diet tomarrow so hubby says what ya want for last supper LOL I WANT BUFFET! michelle

WELL TODAY IS THE DAY I GO AND SPEAK WITH THE SURGEON IT SEEMS LIKE IT TOOK FOREVER! I HAVE ALL MY PAPERS IN ORDER PCP LETTER BLOOD WORK EKG XRAY PHCY LETTER AND EVERYTHING THEY GAVE ME TO FILL OUT! BEING THIS IS THE FIRST VISIT WHAT SHOULD I EXSPECT ? DOES HE JUST GO OVER MY STUFF AND SAY YAH OR NAY? ALSO SEEING DIEITION TODAY . I GUESS THE BALL WILL REALLY START ROLLING NOW? ANY INSITE? Im pretty new here no date set so far i have gotten the paper work from my dr went to the seminar my dr did ekg blood work chest xray i have my surgen appt shedulaed for dec 2nd ! what are the main questions that the physiatrist asks? im a very sensitive person and can start crying at the drop of a hat ! im afriad i might say something wrong and then i will be given a sorry wrong answers ! any help ? any suggestions? HI my name is michelle im 43 and getting ready to go to my seminar It has taken me a year to decide to go forward and have the lap banding done. lots of surfing the net for information lots of talks with my dr and lots of questions! most sites dont give you all the info you really need but dr said i will get that at seminar. im a bit nervouse but also excited at the same time i weigh 210 have been over weight for 20 years . my highest was 330. i lose gain lose gain in the mean time i have gotten diabeties graves disese and lupus Hopefully this will help me maintain weight and get off meds. if any one could give me some words of wisdom on what to exspect before and after surgery i would be so greatfull. still kinda in th dark michelle
