      I hope I didn't give the impression before that I was being sneery toward Sharon. It's just that I didn't see her message until after I wrote mine. The "Dr." is only because of the subject matter.

       

      Jane, everything I've ever seen about B12 or other B vits. (and I've never looked for any of them) says that they has no effect on energy. People who say they do probably are suggestible.

      @wls - I saw a quack for a doctor for my weight about 6-7 years ago. His first plan was b12 shots (energy), testosterone (burn fat) and thyroid meds (underactive). About 2yrs later I was told my new Dr that testosterone was "0" and that Wellbutrin would help with some energy (nope) and that my thyroid though was never underactive. I saw him for about 2 years and finally found my bariatric surgeon, THANK GOD!

      the National Institute of Clinical Excellence recommends that gastric sleeve patients have injections. I have injections and my levels have always been fine when tested. hope this helps :)
