I haven't weighed in several days, and I'll prob continue to do so. About once or twice a week seems like enough. Lots of different things effect my weight (constipation, retaining Water, maybe more). I think weighing too much can make you feel discouraged.

I'm 10 days post-op, and I'm more certain than ever that this was a great decision. I was sore at first, but now everything feels pain-free and normal.

I'm 10 days post-op, and I feel great. Pretty much normal, like surgery never happened. It's amazing, what they can do with laparoscopy.

On my pre-op diet, I survived on sugar-free popscicles. (I've always loved popscicles). For post-op, I bought a snow cone maker. I figured it would be much cheaper than buying so many popscicles regularly--with it, all I need is ice. I ordered sugar free Syrup with it, but I won't do that anymore (it's too expensive); after that is gone I will use the bottles with a mix of Crystal Light.
I'm 10-days post-sleeve, and the snow cone machine has been a great investment. It makes me feel like I'm eating solid food, but what it really does is hydrate me. I eat a lot of my Water in the form of snow cones. I even like them flavorless. I'm a texture-eater, so a liquid diet sucks. it's not fulfilling to me.
Anyone else post-op but need to sink their teeth into something?

I've been told to avoid caffeine, but I've been bad--I have had coffee; well, kinda. coffee with lots of sugar-free Creamer with Protein powder (chocolate). It's kinda delicious.

I'm about 10 days post-sleeve. A few days ago I went to the ER because I was having a few of the symptoms of a stomach bleed. I was making my husband a sandwich with shaved chicken slices; not even thinking, I tore off a tiny piece of the chicken, chewed it well and swallowed it. Yeah...I learned something important...its mess entail to be on the liquid diet post-op
