So far today I have 11,350 steps!!! yay me! Monday I'll be 6 weeks so it's time for me to get serious. This evening I went and picked up my granddaughters and we all went for a nice long walk.....same plan for tomorrow!

Going to the cemetary with my youngest grandson to have a picnic with great grandpa. No tears--just great family stories told from one generation to another. Happy Fathers' Day!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day weekend. I'm about to go spend some time with the most amazing man in the world, my dad! He will be 87 years young next month. I hope everyone is able to spend some time with someone they love this weekend.

Today, I am 10 months post-RNY. I'm down 162 pounds since surgery and 217 overall. In 4 pounds, I will have lost HALF MY WEIGHT!

Okay, I weigh everyday, always have always will!!....Just wondering if I'm the only one who gets up in the morning hops on the scale sees a little loss....like this morning .08 down....and it makes you do a little victory dance??? I just burned 1500 calories in about three minutes. I forgot the pizza was in the oven.

Well I'm almost 4 weeks post op...Monday will be 4 weeks exactly. I'm down 43 lbs from my highest weight and about 16 since surgery! I feel great and am close to feeling normal again. I'm eat normal food now just very small amounts. This is the best thing I've ever done for myself!

5 days post op and feeling 100% better!! I'm not queasy anymore and things taste more normal today! Yay!!!
