Oh! Is this where we get to list our educational/professional credentials? Is that akin to whipping it out and measuring? How fun! I call front row view!!What are you talking about? I mentioned earlier that I was working on lecture. An invitation to class is just that. And while we are playing that game, no thank you, students earn an A in my class. Sitting in the front for a closer look at it won't help you through this one honey. Best, Sanju (It's called a joke.)What amazing timing and delivery!

You seem to have it all figured out. You are the most knowledgeable person on the website. People just don't understand that you're allowed to shoot down any legitimate advice because you're simply wiser and more Enlightened, like a gymrat Yoda. It does beg the question, though -- why are you here asking questions if you're too good to take advice? I have read every post on this thread. I have taken advice from every post I've given a thumbs up to. This is targeted at people who aren't actually giving any advice. Instead furthering something I've been trying to end since early morning today. And gee, thanks for all the love. Best, Sanju

I'm sitting here laughing at the conclusion that have been drawn. Alright, you guys as 100% right. I am that guy that came here for justification. I will now proceed to have a half pound cheese burger with all the sauces. Fries sound great on the side. Someone please justify my actions! Best, Sanju

I'm eating about 600-800 calories a day. Some days it's about 80-85g of protien and few carbs and other days it's 65-70g of protien with 40-60 carbs. I've lost 57 pounds in the last 2 months. I will have to see what weight class I will be wrestling in once all of this settles. Good luck to you! Best, Sanju

Yes this is exactly how I felt. I naturally just stopped eating. I guess I was satisfied. So this is definitely my first experience with grazing and how bad it can be. Thank you! Best, Sanju

Haha well I was ready to pass this as miscommunication but after reading what the great, high ranked, bariatric God @@Babbs has to say about this, and viewing that my original respondent liked such a immature response of this sort, I can whole heartedly say that there was no miscommunication. This is the definition of shaming someone for being new, and stereotyping me as part of a group I did not know existed. This is immaturity, and says a lot about someone's character. At any given point there are more new members than old members. And at one point, the old members were new members. So, everone, quit passing judgment and putting yourself higher than others. Alright, before this gets any more hostile... I have come to this forum for advice many times before and there are some great people that offer great knowledge without passing judgement. I'm this case, I came here worried about not feeling full when I realized I had ate a lot more than I had ate in over 2 months. This was while having dinner and preparing my lecture for class for tomorrow morning. So it is my fault that I asked the question I already knew the answer for. What I should have asked is why I was able to even consume this meal without realizing I was more than full. But In my opinion, the answer I received seemed of the shaming nature. This is my opinion, you do not have to agree. I am strongly against shaming of any form, especially on public forums. We are all here for advice and to learn. There are ways to give advice without sounding completely negative. Yes I ate to much this time, but no that does not mean that I do not know the guidelines, or know about grazing, or not have a diet plan. I am not saying that I know it all, there was a reason for asking. Best, Sanju

Okay, 1. My doctor allows my 40-60 carbs a day because I train as a wrestler. Your guidelines are yours. 2. A "boatload" of food for you, you cannot eat that much. But for me, I just did. I do not feel like I'm uncomfortably full, I feel normal. Don't apply your situation to everyone else when giving advice. 3. Your style of "advice" is not advice, it is condescending. People come here for advice, not to be parented and looked down upon. We are all adults. 4. I track everything. Calories in, calories out. Macros, and micros. My question was simple in nature. If you thought it was too much, too quick, all you needed to do was leave your last bit. You could hold off on the rest. Best, Sanju Sooooo.... If you are so sure, why did you bother to ask? I never stated that I am sure. I said that I was able to eat it, and I did not feel uncomfortable in anyway. I also stated in my second reply that I will take the proportions advice seriously, as for some reason I am able to eat more without feeling the way most of the community may have felt post wls. Best, Sanju

This is first time I ate this much in this short of a period. My worries came from the fact I did not feel full more than actually eating what I ate... Best, Sanju

  15. Hi guys! I'm currently 7 weeks out and in the solid food phase and have been wondering what I should eat while in the city (nyc). I usually get a chipotle chicken salad bowl with black Beans, fajita vegetables, green salsa, tomato salsa. It lasts me for lunch, a snack, and dinner. Lately I've been becoming ocd about proportions. I hate that chipotle and other restaurants do not value making sure the proportions are right to match the website calories and macros Is there anyway of ordering to insure for proper servings? I would hate to be under shooting or over shooting everyday. Does anyone have any other recommendations? I cook but I do not have the time while in school. Best, Sanju

  18. *To start off, I have no affiliation with the hospital or doctor mentioned below, I just want to help people in NY who are looking for a great place or surgeon.* I had my gastric sleeve surgery done on April 11th of this year. My surgeon was Dr. Allison Barret over at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish in Forrest Hills, Queens. She also lectures at Hoftra school of Medicine. She made my experience amazing. Following surgery, she answered every email I sent her about various questions that came up within the hour. I was very impressed with this, being surgeons are very busy people. I can honestly say, out of all the surgeons I consulted with before surgery, Dr. Allison Barret seemed like the most caring for the patients. I am very happy with my choice, and would highly recommend her to anyone in New York. I have a follow up with her coming up, and I will definitely be taking a small token of appreciation for her. She has changed my life! Has anyone else had surgery in lij in Forrest Hills? If so, was it with Dr. Allison Barret? I would love to link up with others who had the same exact path as me! Best, Sanju
  19. 1. 8oz Ground Turkey 93% lean. (Good for 2 servings) 2. Chilli power = 1-2 tspn 3. Fajita seasoning = 1 teaspoon 4. 1 sec Oil spray 5. .5 tblsp low fat low calorie mayo for 4 Oz serving 6. 1 tblsp ketchup per 4 Oz serving. 7. Dried Oregano - a few sprinkles Cook ground turkey. Add seasonings half way through cooking. Add condiments and dried Oregano after cooking, for 4 Oz serving. Enjoy! Macros for 4oz: Calories: 230 Protien: 22g Fat: 13g Carbs: 7g Best, Sanju
  20. This is somewhat of a treat. I personally usually use only seasoning and no condiments. For this occasions where only a burger will do, this is the hack I've found. Maybe an organic ketchup? Best, Sanju
  21. Oh and for pickles fans, try adding a bit of relish . Just remember not to go to crazy with the condiments! Best, Sanju

  23. Hi guys! I have started soft food phase a few days ago (14 days after surgery) and have observed that I have been having more head hunger lately. I track my intake on myfitnesspal and was wondering how many calories a day others ate during this phase. My meals include mostly ground turkey bean chili, 4oz tuna with a table spoon of low fat mayo, salmon... I average in the 600-700 range but I feel like I could probably eat around 800 if really wanted to. Also, I have been able to get in liquids at a much quicker rate now (I could pretty much have a small gulp as compared to a sip every minute) So, how many calories were you guys able to eat, and how did the weight loss look per week? Best, Sanju Note: I am 17 days out
  24. **TMI alert*** Guys, this is super embarrassing but I need to know. I am at day 7 and while constipated for the past few days, today I've been dealing with impacted fecal matter that will not say bye. For a play by play, there have been 7 rounds and it's currently 7 feces - 0 me. The surgeon has told me to to take dulcolax to try to fight it, but it's been 7 hours, and I have gone a few times only to have some spurts of loose motion, but the impacted matter is killing me and not exiting. Did anyone else experience this? Or similar. I was feeling so much better but the flexing of my core during the episodes have left me very lower energy. Best, Sanju
