I am getting my surgery April 4 and I know exactly what you are talking about. Same as you I have always been bigger since as far back as I can remember and I have always been pretty confident I didn't have alot of bad experiences because of my weight and am getting the surgery to get healthy as I am 31 now and things will start falling apart eventually if I don't change something. I am terrified that after this surgery and the weight loss I will hate my body which I don't right now. That's the part that scares me the most about this. I got the call today that my date is set. I'm a ball of emotions fear hope happiness nervous. I dont know what I should expect after surgery besides what my doctors have told me.
