Back to the basics is just getting back to what the rules were after surgery. Protein first (80oz a day) no drinking with food or 30 mins before or after meals. No snacking, drinking at least 64 oz Of Water and exercising. I know for me the weight came back because I stopped following these rules and started eating a lot of carbs and sugary foods. That's what back to basics means for me

Hello my fellow WLS peeps. I am on a mission to lose 50 pounds that I have regained. I am feeling hopeful and know that getting back to basics will do it. I would like this thread to be a place where we can come and be transparent and accountable. I plan on checking in with a weigh in every Monday starting tomorrow. If you want to join me, let's do this!
Heightist weight: 289
Lowest: 157
Goal: 150
Attached is my before surgery pic, me at my lowest and where I am today.
May God bless you and keep you️

Hi Everyone,
Over the past 3 years I have had brain and spine surgery which have left me unable to excise. Needless to say I have gained 35 pounds back which I was almost at goal. My question for everyone, Did everyone do the 5 day pouch test to get back on track?

Hi everyone,
I am 3 1/2 out and I am gaining weight. I had lost 180lbs with 20 to go but now I have gained 30lbs. Over the passed 2 years I have had two major surgery that have lifted me not able to excise or eat right. I don't have a nut anymore because he retired. Can someone please tell me how I can get back on track.
