  1. Why does no one ever add the duodenal switch into the mix? Has anyone considered this as an option? If not, why not?
  2. CHM RIGHT!!! and my frustration is mean people.!! There vented!! Sorry you don't agree Sent from my SM-G930T1 using the BariatricPal App You seem to have missed that I did not comment on your rant in any way. You are entitled to vent your frustrations here like everyone else. What I was commenting on was your judgement of others for doing the same. On a side note: It seems that in my original post I have inadvertently credited @@KristenLe with stating something that was actually said by Syl 153, and I don't know how to fix it. Sorry! It's OK. It seems your words no longer matter. Just your intention. I hope I did not upset you with my comment on your post VSGAnn2014. If I did I truely apologize. It was not my intent.
  3. Sorry, did a double.
  4. Yes, it's shocking! But don't call anyone here "mean." It's against the rules. My interpetation of the rules is not that we should not call others "mean" but that we be more thoughtful in our responses and strive to not BE mean Yes, it's shocking! 5. I have gleened invaluable information from this forum. I would be quite lost without it. I thank you and everyone who unselfishly comments with positive helpful advice and personal history that help me find my way.
  6. This is probably better advice. I'd go with this ????
  7. I still got a month to go so I can only imagine the anxiety and racing thoughts you must be experiencing. Only advise I can give is to maybe embrace these feelings and realy go with it. Maybe you will get it all out of your system...and maybe don't listen to me at all. What do I know? Lol. Best of luck to you.
  8. Cool gina171! I only have four short weeks to make my decision. I will check this out. Thanks!
  9. Enjoyed your reflections. Sounds like you are living and loving life. Congratulations on your successes and hope all your dreams come to pass.
  10. 100 lbs! Too cool! Thanks for sharing your successes as well as your tribulations msujester. Hope you get relief from your digestion issues soon. I can not imagine having to vomit so consistently. How do you have the energy to walk so far on so little food? Is there anything they can do to help you?
  11. You may want to ask the clinic that is scoping you because I was not sedated. They just sprayed a numbing agent into my nose and did it right then. Took 5 minutes.
  12. Good suggestion. I will be trying this when my turn comes up. Thanks!
  13. That's awesome discodawng! Thank's for your insight. So you never had any of the issues with certain foods that most others have had? Not even in the early stages?
  14. Lol. Thanks nyteacher125 but I was talking about the no water with meals thing also. I love plain old simple water.
  15. Aaagh, the water thing! That is a tough one. Thanks for responding to my curiosity.
  16. You are beautiful! Thank you for the inspiration Lisa! What would you say has been the toughest part for you?
  17. Oh lord sorry! This is Pinkstarburst73!! My bad! Beg your forgiveness!
  18. Wow! Lots of info, thanks! You explained the distinctions expertly. I appreciate you taking the time to help someone you don't even know. Deep respect AllthingsApple.
  19. Hi Mojo56,I am considering the SIPS or DS surgery. I have read a lot of posts here about foul bowel movement and gas. I see that you were also struggling with this issue. How is it now? Has this gotten any better? Do you have to be super restrictive to keep it from happening?
  20. Thanks AllthingsApple, 105 is awesome! How long ago did you have the DS? How do you deal with gas at work around employees? Is it a daily issue?
  21. By the way, since you seem to know about both, what isthe difference between these two?
  22. Thanks PinkStarburst73. I sure will. And you are right... my health, getting the weight off and KEEPING it off are top priority! (still wanna know though ????)
