    Plantar Fasciitis

Has anyone dealt with plantar fasciitis? I've had it in my left foot for 2 weeks now, and I'm getting depressed. For the first time in my life I want to exercise, and I feel this is holding me back. I have been bike riding and swimming to rest my foot, but i miss long walks with my husband and dogs. I do wear proper shoes, and I've been stretching it as much as I can. It felt like it was getting better, but I played badminton with my son today and now it's super sore again....I'm so frustrated!! So, I'm wondering...if you've had this problem, what did you do to help it feel better?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Clothes purge!

Good for you. My closet is basically empty right now. I just got rid of another bag of clothes the other day. There was a pair of jeans I bought and never even wore...which kinda ticked me off that I wasted the money. So now I'm in clothes limbo...I can finally shop in whatever clothes store I want, but because I'm still losing weight, I don't want to bother spending money on clothes. The funny thing is, I would've killed for this problem 7 months ago, now I'm kinda annoyed by it!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@northcountyr1 Thank you, but no, I have not had any skin removed yet. I will though...I have a very large, hanging apron. I will look into getting plastic surgery early next year. I still want to lose at least 20 more pounds. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  8. My son, my friend and I went to the fair this evening. We had a great time. We wanted to see the hypnotist show before we left, so we got good seats right up front. So the hypnotist gets on stage and of course is looking for volunteers. My son is begging me to go up, so I volunteered along with around 15 other people. Now, 7 months ago I never would've wanted to go on a stage in front of hundreds of people when I weighed 333lbs. I would've been mortified at what people would've said about me, and I never would have been relaxed enough to be hypnotized. But that was then, this is now. I now weigh 185lbs, and am so confident in myself that not only did I volunteer, I actually got hypnotized and was the star of the whole show!! My friend was actually laughing so much that she burst a blood vessel in her eye!! My son just loved that I did it, and that I got hypnotized. And when the show was over and I got off the stage, I didn't even feel embarrassed...I felt good that I took such a risk. Funny how losing weight opens up such weird and different opportunities!! @@Mooseknuckle Sorry, I misread. I thought you meant you had to have another surgery for something unrelated to weight loss. I seen a lot of people on here that have tried going back to their liquid diet. Maybe there would be old threads if you searched? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    C25k. Keeping myself honest

@jaimielogical Thanks....it's hard to describe what the feeling is...it's not really pain, it's just that my knee feels weak for a day after I run. So maybe it is just weakness?? I'll have to investigate some stretches unless you have some suggestions. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    C25k. Keeping myself honest

First of all, good for you goplay!! You're doing awesome! So, I started the c25k and am on w2d2. Should be doing day 3 today, but I'm hesitant. While and after I'm done my jog...and for about a day after, my right knee feels uncomfortable. It's not a bad pain or anything, but I can definitely feel it. Because I've never been a runner, I've attributed it to the fact my knees just aren't used to running. I do, and always have, walked alot. My question is, is this normal? I would love to continue with the c25k, but not if it means a knee injury. Just so you know, I stretch before and after, wear good shoes and I'm definetly pacing myself...I'm a very slow jogger still at this point. I appreciate any feedback you guys might have Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

My Big Fat Fabulous Life 2016 Season

@ Inner Surfer Girl I'm taping today's show and will watch it when I get home from work...but the fact she's never paid for her car (or probably her rent I'm guessing too) doesn't surprise me. She's getting more and more pathetic as this season goes on. I truly hope she ends up taking control of her life at some point. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Well 180 is the goal the Dr set for me. I'd actually like to get down to 160. But if I go no further than 180 I'd be ok because that would still be the smallest I've ever been in my teen and adult life. Congrats on your accomplishment too, by the wayI know, the weight I'm at now is the smallest I've been since I was 17. It's hard to pick a goal weight when you have no idea how you'll look!160 sounds reasonable though. I'm like you, I'll get to 180 and see how I feel. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. I just made it to onederland last week myself so I know how you feel! I cried when I saw the number too. I also started in the 300's, so I thought I'd never see a 1 again in front of my weight. It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? You enjoy your accomplishment, you deserve it!! So you're thinking you want your goal weight to be 180? That's what I originally thought too, but now that I'm in the 190's, I think I could go lower than that. Is that how you feel too? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Pic for reference

My start weight was 333.1, and I have quite the apron. You can see my before and now pics in the post "huge milestone". As far as pant sizes being an issue, I started out wearing 5x-6x or a size 32 for pants, and now I'm wearing XL or size 16 pants. So yes, you will definetly drop pant sizes. However, if I didn't have such a big stomach apron, I'm guessing I'd be at a size 12 for sure. I do plan on having a tummy tuck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
