You'll get there!! Trust me, when I was in your shoes before I had surgery, and saw people's before and after pics, I never dreamed I would ever get to this weight...I didn't even think it was possible. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you. I've never counted calories, but eat less than 20g of carbs per day, and at least 70g of Protein and drink around 100oz of Water. I eat very boring actually, a lot of chicken and fish. I have a Protein shake every morning, 4oz of protein at lunch and supper, then another form of protein in the evening, usually a Protein Bar. I don't do any other snacking. No, unfortunately I can't afford plastic surgery. All I can say is everything between my upper thighs to my waist is a hot mess of hanging skin. It does bother me, but there's nothing I can do about it. But that's what good undergarments are for! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi! I've never counted calories, but try not to eat too high fat foods. My carbs are below 20g, always have at least 70g of Protein each day. I exercise a lot, around 5-6 days a week. I do a variety of exercises, which I find has helped. Hot yoga, spin classes, step classes, cardio machines...I find changing it up keeps me motivated. But you have done so well also!! Congrats on your weight loss!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you!Ummm...I don't really have any recipies...the food I eat is very basic and boring. Lots of chicken breasts marinaded different ways like with different seasonings and stuff. Any tuna or chicken salad I do is just basic with mayo, onions, pickles and celery. The frozen fish I buy is pre seasoned. When I eat shrimp I'll cook it in a bit of teriyaki sauce. Honestly, I'm not the one to ask for recipies!! I really don't have anything good or inspiring for ya! Sorry! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you!I get my 80grams of protein in pretty easily. I always have a Protein shake every morning for Breakfast, then the 4oz of only protein at lunch and supper add up, then I usually have a Protein Bar or some other protein in the evening. I basically only eat protein, very little vegetables. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you! No, I honestly have no regrets. I love being able to shop for clothes now, being a size 6 is very motivating! As for suggestions? I can only say what worked for me, and that's a lot of exercise, low carb eating, I weigh my food every meal, I get in at least 80g of Protein daily, drink only Water...and a lot of it. Good luck with your surgery! You'll do great as long as you stick with your program Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    HAPPY HEALTHY HOLIDAYS CHALLENGE!

It's so nice of you to respond to everyone! I have no idea what happened to me the last few weeks. I actually ended up getting as high as 147lbs last week. For some reason I was retaining Fluid like crazy and gaining weight. I always drink tons and never let myself get constipated. So I have no idea what happened, but the weight is coming off again this week, so I'm happy about that. I know I won't get to my goal for this challenge, but in the long run, as long as I can get into the 130's and stay there, I'll be happy! After all, I did start this year weighing 333lbs! Lol, thank you! Honestly, I have no idea how I've stayed so dedicated. I think the fact that I've never stalled and have always had a loss every week kept me going. I'm not going to lie...there's been times I've wanted junk, but I'm too scared to eat it because I'm afraid I'll get sick. And I'm sure I would get sick after all this time of not eating crap! Hi, you sound like you're doing great! My typical food day is pretty boring. I still eat very low carb. For Breakfast I have a Protein shake, for lunch and supper 3-4oz of whatever protein i have. Then I have some other protein in the evening, some times a Protein Bar or whatever I have leftover. I eat a lot of chicken, usually chicken breast seasoned in different ways. Or chicken salad is good too. I also eat a lot of shrimp and fish. Sorry I'm not much help in the food idea area! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you!Food favorites?? Can't really say I have any...I basically just eat Protein still. A lot of chicken. Once I get to my goal weight, I'll start to expand my food selections. Right now, I eat pretty boring to tell you the truth Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I walked a lot in the beginning, then as the weight started coming off, I started to do different things. I bought a bike, then tried different exercise classes like spin and step. Variety has definitely been the key for me as far as exercise goes Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Thank you for the kind words. So my daily food plan is pretty basic and boring. I have a Protein shake for breakfast, 3-4oz of whatever protein for lunch and supper, then I do have a snack in the evening, sometimes it's a protein bar, or whatever else is leftover. I can honestly say any love for food I had is gone. My tastes really seemed to change after surgery. I'm just really not that interested in food anymore. Maybe that's because I'm not craving carbs like I was before surgery....I was a chipaholic in a bad way. So I can't really say I get any cravings for bad foods. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I really hope I have the same feelings toward food after my surgery. Such an inspiration! It is frustrating in some ways though. Sometimes I'll go to eat something and it will look really good, and I'll taste it and be like "blah".Maybe this will change as time goes on? I'm not sure Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
