Just this past week people started noticing that I've lost weight, before that they would just say, "you look so pretty" "something's different about you" "did you get your haircut" "did you wear makeup today" LOL. 8. What's your question? I'm not sure if I understood it.... do you mean you went for years without having a period, and then you had your period after surgery? This happen to me Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  9. I had RNY and took 4 weeks...I could have easily went back at 2 weeks but went ahead and took the extra couple weeks to just enjoy being off. I did yard work and spent time learning more about my new diet. My opinion, 4 weeks is a nice amount of time...even though physically I could have went back sooner, it was nice to take the extra couple weeks to just mentally wrap my head around my new lifestyle. 11. Lifting weights looks good on you! Losing that much weight, it's sometimes tough to keep arms and legs from getting too skinny....your arms look great! Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  12. I've kept it private except for a couple close friends....I didn't even tell my mom. I simply didn't want her to worry about me having surgery...I may tell her sometime. I chose to keep it quite so I didn't have everyone judging me on everything thing I put in my mouth., wondering if I should eat that are not. I also get embarrassed easy and I'm not comfortable with attention, i didn't want people to always be asking me how I am, is it hard, do you miss food, how much have you lost ect.... I'm so happy with my decision. I would not lie if anyone ever ask me straight out, if I had surgery. I think it's completely your call. We are all so different. 16. Don't sweat it....pain is nothing compared to childbirth.....nothing. As for the recovery...i think, most of the time needed off is for the mental adjustment. I'm not going to say I wasn't nervous, because I was....but after going through it, I was surprised with the whole process. Only real uncomfortable issue I had was constipation. 19. http://www.m.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-313/biotin Here's a link to tell you a little bit about Biotene it's for your hair skin and nails. What I really like about it is that I can buy it in the form where it just melts on your my tongue and there's no more pill to swallow. This is the kind I buy in the picture it may look like a large bottle but it's actually very small maybe 2 inches tall.
