I was wondering how is everyone doing with the waiting 30 minutes after you drink before you have your protein/meal, and then waiting an hour after you eat before you have your liquids? So what if I am having a Protein Drink that would also count as my Water intake, then want to eat my meal? If I'm eating Protein or drinking protein back to back, do I need to have that time in between there where Im not eating or drinking anything? Do you feel your lying if you were to say, "I've cut way back, I watch my sugar and carb intake and eat a lot of protein" I struggled with the issue of possibly feeling like if could be lying too but came to the conclusion to be honest about how I'm eating....if for its someone seriously wanting to know because they also have struggled, I think I would be discrete and tell them about the surgery Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

Sorry, the BMI question was meant for ChooChi73. She was unhappy with her weight loss so far and I just wondered if maybe she started with a lower BMI so didn't lose the weight as quickly as somebody that maybe had a higher BMI. I'm 5 weeks post op also....and down 24 lbs. I feel pretty satisfied with that. The first 15 did just fall off over night though lol Do you excersise regularly? I know I need to start doing some serious exercising....I feel plenty good to start aerobics or some power walking. I walk now but I need to step it up. Somehow, you have to get your protein...I say that in the most loving way. Have you tried the Atkins Lift Protein Drink, it taste just like flavored water. I found it at Target, Walmart and Sam's. I was very close to going to the ER today. But i remembered my nausea pills... i took that and i felt better. The loose bowels have stopped. I've been good for the past 8 hours. I did take in a popsicle but it made me more nauseous. I've just been sipping all day. Tiny sips, but i know i get in at least 32 oz. My urine still looks good. I went to urgent care on Friday and the doctor there gave me a weird diet to follow. Knowing i have just had the bypass she told me to go ahead and eat a whole bunch of things I'm not supposed to eat yet. So, i come to realize they can't really help me. The worst time to get sick is during the weekend. Sigh. I can't wait for my doctor to call me tomorrow.. How are you doing today, better I hope? Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
