  1. I am so sorry about your loss but I'm so happy to hear that you didn't give in and just eat the pain away. It's so hard to stay on track when there is always so many bumps in the road. I have my 2nd doctors appt the first week in April but I keep feeling like either I'm eating too much or I'm just not losing. Don't know as I don't weigh myself at home. All I can think about is "am I losing weight or am I eating too much"! It's a horrible cycle! Lol

  2. Think this way....if you can stretch your stomach then what complications can there be? My worry is am I eating too much or am I losing weight? I don't see it myself but my husband tells me that I've lost weight. I think everyone worried about something because it's an emotional roller coaster. Don't think about complications in 20 years think about what you'll be able to do and what you'll be doing in 20 years that you could have never imagined doing if you hadn't lost the weight.

  3. I had my surgery on February 16, 2016. I'm a little lost on what I can and can not eat at this point. I started this journey at 243lbs at 5'6 and I was down 20lbs at first weigh in.

I'm so happy I made this life changing decisions because I had to get healthy for myself and for my kids who are 10 and 3. I'm a handicapped mom with a supportive husband and I'm very lucky for that. I'd love to hear your experiences and how much weight should I expect to lose and in what time frame? Also maybe share some recipes with me? Your daily intake? I'm from New Jersey and would love a pal to have contact with please.
