I've got the same pain in my left shoulder. It comes and goes but when it comes it stops me in my tracks! I will try heat. I had my daughter trying to massage it out and even though it felt good...The pain is still there.

I still have my gas pains in shoulder, yes the left one.Still only on clear liquids and unsweetened applesauce for crushed pills. The acid pill tastes horrible. A little belly gas pain but gas x strips seem to help.post office visit tomorrow and they may move me to full liquid diet, Protein Shakes, nonfat yogurt creamed soups....

Someone who I know had the surgery a couple of years ago and when anyone asked about how she lost so much weight ,her response was I eat A LOT less! Best answer ever..... Totally truthful!

JkBtx....why were you denied?
I just met with my PA for the second visit and she brought up at for my 90 day plan I need to also meet with a exercise physioligist (sp)....so I went down to the hospital gym and signed up with one...

Something my mother said to me when I was 12 ( she was always tiny)
"If you weigh more than me before you are 16 , I am sending you to the FAT Farm"
I brought this up to her about 10 years ago and she was mortified and apologized ...
I have always been overweight with the exception of about 2 years when I hit my weight watchers goal 6 years ago ( regained it all!)
Words hurt ...Plain and simple........
I just had my initial consult today and have a 90 day "diet period" for insurance . I am hoping to be sleeved early June!
GO ME!!!!

So Excited, had my first consultation with my surgeon today . He was great and office staff really made me feel at ease .. They seem to know exactly what the insurance company ( AETNA) will look for and it appears they will walk me through every step of the way .... 90 days ..a bunch of appointments and ....wait for it......Remove most of my stomach and that awful hormone that makes me so very hungry!! Hello new me!

August 11th sleever here , checking in . Down 58 lbs since surgery. I feel great. My issues ( really non issues just changes)
Had 1 really bad bowel obstruction- 1st time and worst feeling eva! That taught me to stay focused on hydration!
I have noticed my hair and skin is dry. I was attributing that to the really dry weather we are having here in central florida, but maybe not....
I don't feel like I had surgery at all ( except I only eat about a quarter of what I use to) Nothing seems to bother my belly ( I am not sure if that's a good thing or not!)
Would love to hear how everyone else is doing!
