This happened to me on my 2 week post op (I'm 4 weeks post op)
Worst experience of my life, so I diffenitely sympathize with you. There was nothing that worked for me. I used stool softener, Miralax, milk meg and last a enema.
Thank God I had help removing this impacted... please go to the er if you haven't released. Last thing anyone needs is a bowel obstruction or something happening to your sleeve..
coffee has been my solution after..still a scary thought I never want to experience again

Hello everyone im finally post op March 16 & wanted to give my March Sleevers some support. The surgery wasnt to bad honestly , hurt alot less than a c section (i had 3). My back hurt the first night, the incisions hurt like a mini cut not to bad.. the gas is the pain, so walk it off. Ask for gas relief medicine or bring Gas X strips..wear loose clothes.. other than that be strong and positive.. good luck my March Sleevers

I have a 13 month old baby.. i just had surgery on the 16th.. its really hard. You need someone to stay with you and help with your child. You will not be able to carry them. Remember take care of yourself because even if you feel okay your insides are not. Trust me my son cried and called out to me and i went to grab him and hurt myself.. I understand a mothers love but please take care.. good luck

Are you ready and excited for tomorrow?
My surgery is on the 16th too.. good luck to you☺☺My doctor had me start a week of pre op diet.. protien shakes, lean meat and vegetables.. then pure liquids 2 days before. The hospital called me to preregister and told me 3 days of liquids..anyways i completed my first day of only protien shakes, broth and sugar free popsicles..my surgery is on March 16....so 2 more days hopefully they go fast

How is it going?Home today from the hospital. My surgery was March 7 and went great! I'm not all that sore, but I've had some bad gas pains. It's getting better, though. I'm drinking Water, Powerade Zero, and broths. I have no hunger, which is amazing!

So today was my pre op visit (Surgery March 16) since my surgery is next week and my doctor told me to start a liquid diet Friday. That's 6 days till surgery! I've done my research and yes a liquid diet is mandatory to reduce the liver but I thought it was going to be 2 to 3 days before:(
So I was hoping to get advice to get me through the weekend and work. I can only imagine the Ogre I will become...(i've seen it before)
Thanks in advance

Hello everyone I am super excited about finally scheduling my Gastric sleeve surgery March 16. Now that I finally paid everything off I can't believe I actually made it. Now I just have to fight the anxiety off on this month count down. I'm so nervous. Any tips on keeping calm before the surgery? What should I enjoy before surgery besides food? Thanks

I am 4 weeks post op and can't tolerate Water. I get nauseous so I have to flavor it up. Thank God I can swallow more. Even a sip of water at 2 weeks hurt like hell.. no I can have a 8oz water and finish it within 20 minutes. (Still long but better than before)
I'm sad about water, I was a water freak, loved it...now I can't even stand taking a sip
