That's my surgery date I hope if insurance stop tripping. My insurance company is Cigna and the JUST sent me a letter stating that my insurance won't cover it because their medical Dr looked over my medical information and it's not a medical problem in my case so I THINK I'm denied the coverage. I'm pissed. However my bariatric team says that my insurance cleared it. That was 11 am today. Part me wants to tear this letter up and act like I didn't receive it. Yes the team I'm with has their own nutritionist and the bariatric team gave me a list of psychologist to choose from. My process was so easy. The bariatric team did it all all I had to do was show up. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

Yeah I sent them an email about this STRESS TEST. I just felt that this Dr is trying to MAKE ME be a patient. I said I was going to go along with it to get this clearance but after that he is canned. Don't need medical problems ($) I don't have lol. Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

I went to see a cardiologist today to get clearance for my surgery on March 17 and he said that I need to take a stress test to be cleared. That's fine but here is my issue. I don't have any cardiac problems. In my family's history there is no Cardiac history of no sort. My PCP did an EKG before I went to this cardiologist and he said everything was FINE, however my bariatrics team wanted an EKG from a cardiologist. Now I go to this guy he says my EKG was fine but before clearance lets do a stress test. For the most part I'm am a healthy just overweight for my height. I'm not on medication never have been I've had to c-sections and was up walking around the same night. I'm thinking he just want to milk me and my insurance company because before I left the off is schedulers cornered me into scheduling a 6 week check up with this Dr after my surgery. However I can get this done with my PCP it's a one stop shop. Did any of you that DO NOT OR DID NOT have cardiac problems have to take a stress test? Sent from my iPhone using BariatricPal

I was March 14 now I'm March 17. I'm at the Dr right now getting my labs X-rays and EKG. Meet with the surgeon AGAIN on March 8. Register at the hospital March 15. Must be at the hospital March 17 at 6 am. I can't wait I'm so excited. Oh start my pre surgical diet March 3. Mini fridge stocked with Protein shakes and nectar. Gotta get cases of Water today also. Girl I was out in two minutes of being on the table (They talk to you as nothing was happening you don't even have time to think of that) I woke back up in my room. I don't even remember being in recover. lol Did you feel it was like a short nap or long nap? Were you drowsy when you woke up? How long was your surgery? ????

Just talk to him. He is afraid your going to start getting attention and that he will lose you. Convince him that you love him and he is all you want. I think you two can work through this he just needs assurance. Good luck
