Yes, the one my dr does is a small incision around the belly button and it's also laparoscopic. So it's the same technique, but with only one incision. It's called PULS. I was just curious if anyone had it done that way. I hear recovery is pretty fast.

I just found out that my doctor does the single incision technique. Anyone familiar with this technique? Any personal experiences?

Congratulations!! You look amazing! I'm also 5'1" and my goal weight is 120ish. You make me want to be sleeved even more now! You look great!

That's so exciting! It'll be here before you know it!! I was hoping for April, but I have a feeling it'll be May. Getting closer though!

Hi everyone! I am also a April/May sleever. I don't have a surgery date yet because I have to wait until my 6 months are up which will be in April. They said my insurance usually approves within 3 days after they submit my notes. Fingers crossed!

If I go under 35 my insurance will not approve me. They don't care if I stay the same or gain slightly, but I cannot go under. I have a BMI of 37 with comorbidities. I would totally check with your insurance.

I would LOVE to be added to the group. I sent you a friends request. I should be sleeved in April or May. That's the plans.
Any Missouri people

Hi everyone!! I am about one and half hours from STL in Southern Illinois. I am going to Dr Wagner and have had a few friends go to him. My friends highly recommend him and have had a great outcome. I had to have 6 mos supervised diet for my insurance and if all goes well after my last visit (in April) I should have my surgery the end of April. I have had nothing, but good experiences with the Dr and his staff. He also does the single incision laparoscopic surgery which I'm excited about. I hear recovery is much quicker. Did any of you have or will have the single incision surgery?
