Me too, I am 1.3 yrs out and having a hard time. I have gained 20 pounds argh. I was on steroids which accounts for some of it but I have been making bad food choices. I am going to do the five day liquid diet to get back in track. And get my butt back to the gym. I feel so much better when I do even if it's just the treadmill to start. I understand what your saying, I am a little nervous of that too. I have never had any kind of surgery before so I am not sure how it will effect me, I guess everybody is different. My sister gets sick from it ????

Curlychics I actually already have my surgery date, they were so sure I would be approved the went a head and scheduled it ????

Woo hoo I called my insurance company and I have been approved for surgery. I cheated and called myself, I will have to confess when my Dr's office calls me to tell me lol lol oh well, a girls gotta do what she's gotta do lol

I told my boss and a couple co-workers, one who has had gastric by pass. My boss is amazing and he has been so accommodating with all my Dr. Appts (I had to do the 6 mos diet plan). Even with the time off after, I was asking for one week and he said take two. I don't know how I got so lucky, I have worked for other managers that I wouldn't have told of the specific procedure , because she would have blabbed it all over, so I can understand where some of you are coming from. I feel very blessed to have him as a boss and another gastric person to share with, she has already been very helpful.
