  1. Boom! The scales have shifted with my altitude sickness. This deserves a dance party of one.

  2. I thought gaining water weight before your period was a myth, but going from 233 to 238 and then back to 233 in the space of a few days has made me a believer. Panic Over!

Thanks, me too! :-D Maybe I'm just noticing 'cause of weighing myself regularly, whereas before I didn't bother because it was like watching paint dry, waiting for those scales to actually move.

  3. So, I know my motel bed doesn't have bed bugs (let's pretend I didn't crawl across it with the torch on my phone for inspection) but now it's in,y head I can't stop bloody itching. Pretty sure it's the sun burn from this gorgeous SoCal weather and my pasty skin, but my brain still thinks it's bedbugs.

      It could also be cooties..

Or you may have picked up boy germs from somewhere...

But if your brain is convinced that it's bedbugs, you're in for a long night...

Sounds heavenly. Have you found places to weigh yourself?

No - in the end I bought a portable set of scales from Bed, Bath and Beyond

  5. Back swimming today - so excited I almost forgot the goggles to protect my poor post-surgery eyes! 22 lengths this time :-D

Congratulations! Swimming is the activity that I love the most. it makes my entire body feel heavenly. And when I get to a good cardio level, I don't feel so much pain and exhaustion. =D

Me too! I feel so wonderful and pain free in the water. This week is the last of my Aqua P.T. then I'll be able to join the gym's pool and exercise on my own. I'm more than ready!

Thanks Amelie and Valentina! Ditto - I feel the ache when I get out sometimes, especially in my ribs, but when I'm in there it's great!

  6. I'm sad I can't swim this week, but having 20/20 vision without glasses does away with some of that sadness! My poor body doesn't know what i'm doing to it - two surgeries in less than a month!

Thank you, both of you! I was three weeks yesterday - swimming is pretty much the only exercise I like - it's so calming, aside from boxercise and dancing which are both high impact, so not the best idea for now :-D

Awesome job, I have found working out in the water is my best way to exercise and really is pain free as I have severe arthritis.. Keep going you are doing an amazing job.
