  1. Maybe try swimming when your wounds are ready. I had two bone spurs removed from my heels a long time ago and it took a good year before I could wear shoes with any type of back. You may also want to try the mule style tennis shoes as they wont put pressure on your heel. Good. luck!


  2. We go to Disney World frequently. Make sure to take Protein bars as a back up, but there are a lot of healthy options. If you don't like what one place offers, walk 50 feet and you will have all new options. Lots of protein and veggie options.


  3. I think you have to do what is best for you. I started with a BMI at 37-38 with no health problems other than I have had some serious orthopedic issues in the past. A lot of the repsonses I received were that I don't have serious health problems and I'm not that heavy, so why would I want to do something so extreme. Being able to walk without pain is not extreme in my mind. Only my husband and parents know. They are supportive and that's all that matter.
