I honestly don't know if I feel restriction or of it's psychological....but as long as it's working....who cares? I am feeling hungrier lately......I do feel full sooner, but not as soon as I did at first......I'm thinking I'll send in my paperwork for a fill at the end of next week.

No super powers that I have discovered yet :biggrin2:....but I do think the B complex helps with energy....I've always taken Vit E and I think it helps my skin......

It's on the inside of my right forearm.......I really don't know exactly what I'm rewarding for.....just for doing this and coming this far. I guess it's more of an incentive than a reward.....a visual reminder to stay on course. I look at it with every spoonful of food! I laughed thinking of you in your sports bra straight jacket....hope the search went okay!

It's very traditional.....and completely different than what I went in to get, but I love it....love the boldness and love the fact that it's very obviously a compass to keep me "on course"!

I'm envious.....our weather has still be too crappy.....the warm days (or rather DAY) I have no time....the days with time....I have no weather! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! I hope....

Kerri.....I have to agree with Fenton....sounds like a good old fashioned case of sibling rivalry.....for what it's worth, I am AMAZED at your planning and how well you did at the party. GOOD FOR YOU! I'm beyond proud of you and look to your good example as an inspiration to me! You've got a great handle on how this is supposed to work.....and once again, I have to agree with F, let your success speak for itself! Family stuff is hard.....fortunately, I've pissed off everyone in my family (siblings), so I don't have to deal with them at all!

It is hard to stay the course.....I, quite seriously, have to talk OUTLOUD to myself.....family wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight, but I knew that the basket of biscuits and honey butter would be too much for me....and the giant sweet potato would be, too......so I sent them off......hope they choke on it...... NOT REALLY, I love them dearly, but I was sort of hoping they'd say, "well, then let's pick a place that works for you....." Apparently their inner carnivore was screaming loudly tonight. Anyway, several times during the day I have to talk myself through food decisions......I have to remind myself that I'm wearing clothes that haven't fit me for a long, long time.....I have to remind myself that I will be able to come off my HBP meds soon....I have to remind myself that I went through a fair amount of pain to get here.....I have to remind myself that I spent an ass load of money to get here..... Most of the time, I am able to talk myself out of it........but it's always quite a conversation.

Gone in sixty seconds! As soon as they're too big.....they're outta here! If it's nice stuff, like some Ralph Lauren that I had....it goes to ebay. If it's garden variety.....goes to the thrift store!

Went and checked out the link, Kerri....seems to me Nick the personal trainer could be quite the inspiration....he's not too hard to look at! I picked up a set of resistance bands and a stability ball at Sports Authority tonight.....will be starting a workout program in the morning. These totally can't be my arms.....

I've been thinking about yoga.....or belly dancing.... I took a yoga class years ago and i enjoyed the mind/body connection....the teacher was amazing. She was in her late 60's and was just stunning and so flexible.....wish I would have stuck with it!

I hate my arms......holy shit....I put on a cap sleeve shirt today and I guess I found where I've really lost the weight....I look like a flying squirrel. UGH....guess it's time to start workin' it.....

I've thought about that, too.......being fat has been a part of who I am for so long. I've talked before about the fact that "normal" changes in our lives quite often....I guess it's all about finding the "new normal". The fat is sort of like the candy coating on an M&M....we all know the good stuff is INSIDE!

I'm with you on the snow thing, kerri! We're supposed to get some more today...............BLECH. It's been warm enough that I don't think it will stick, but still...... IT'S APRIL.......I want sunshine and daffodils! Hope your feeling better soon........... So how were those Long Islands? Sounds divine.....I've made a personal vow to stay alcohol free until October......we'll see how that goes!

I'm down 24 pounds..... I can't remember exactly what my weight was on the day of surgery....so I track it from the day I started my pre-op....good enough for me.

It is frustrating when people don't notice.....but I think sometimes, they do notice....but don't know whether or not they should say something. It's very awkward for people to say "Have you lost some weight?", because then they are implying (sub consciously) that you were fat, needed to lose weight.....blah blah blah.....of course, we all KNOW we're fat and need to lose weight.....but other people are uncomfortable commenting on it..... Soooooooooo, until is is VERY obvious we're dropping pounds......people are hesitant to comment. I'm happy to see a change in the way my clothes fit, I see a difference in the mirror.....that has to be enough for now. Hope your fill on Tuesday is uneventful and effective, Christine! Do come back and tell us about it......I think my first fill is still a ways out. Hope you're all having a peaceful Sunday!
