I see all of your post and your weight loss so far. OMG you are all doing great. It seems my weight loss is going alot slower. :eek: My doctor did one small fill but says I had to wait for another month before my second.

I joined a gym this week and hope to start losing quicker. Any suggestions? encouraging words? PLEASE !!!!!!!

and do you guys have any picks of before/after?

Im Julie. IM 38 years old. I live in HOuston Texas. I married with 1 kid. I have a 16 month old son. I work as a collections associate

for our family's company.

I'm losing weight to grow old with my wonderdful husband and see my son get married and have kids of his own.

I had Spivak for my surgery March 3rd, 08 and he is WONDERFUL !

His bedside manner makes you feel safe and his staff is always wanting to help you at a moments notice.

I personally dont think you can go wrong with Spivak.

I just wanted to give an update. I have lost 16 lbs so far!!!! Im so excited. I have less than 2 weeks before my first fill but I am so happy

with the results this far.

WTG on the weight loss evansmom!!!! Im now one pound behind you at 13. I've been on mushy food for awhile ...sure is weird how every doctor is different.

I was a little afraid at first but for no reason. I didnt feel anything. You have no restriction at first... but you dont feel hungry. Dont worry it will be great . GOOD LUCk ON YOUR JOURNEY

My first mini goal is 15 lbs by the end of April. I've already lost 13 lbs since 3/3/08 . MY husband is throwing a birthday party the last week and I would love to weigh less than 210.

I hope I hope I hope. What a birthday present huh?

I had my surgery on 3/3/08 and I feel good. FIrst two days were a little rough...but over that and on to better things.

I am on soft foods now and I have lost 13 lbs in two weeks.

(need to change my thingy below i know)

I'm walking alot and besides the port area a tiny sore IM AWESOME.

I go in two weeks for my first fill...and I CANT WAIT

I'm on my mushy diet per doc's orders and walking everyday. I feel pretty good ...not sore anymore.

Feel free to talk to me anytime. I was banded 1 1/2 weeks ago and Im so grateful I did. I've lost 11 lbs in a week and I feel great. Surgery wasnt nearly as bad as some had stated.

Which doctor are you using?

Well today has been one week. It was a slow process healing...trying to get comfortable, those terrible strips and gas pain.

Im so glad I did this. I've lost 8 lbs this week and 2 lbs before the surgery. I still cant believe it!!!!

I hope everyone is healing quickly and keeping their chin(s) lol up!

Heres to a wonderful new year with healthy new bodies.

I know that feeling... I cooked some dinner for my family. OMG the smells were wonderful. I actually had to walk outside for awhile. I keep telling myself Im going to be healthy... i chant over and over again. lol I have to... its either that or shooting people off of towers...or snatching food out of my toddlers mouth.

Pain is almost gone. Im going shopping today with my mom. I hope everyone else is doing great.

CALL HIM!!!! This is your life and your health. If you are not happy with the results you are getting with this one lady find someone else. I understand wanting to have a child. Im 38 and had my son 15 months ago... dont let anything or anyone stand in your way.

Im home from the surgery as well... REALLY sore but otherwise in good spirits. Im glad its over with... the nursing staff was wonderful.

I had to stay for 12 hrs due to the meds (im a weakling)... they made me sick.

Here is to a great new journey.

What is the citrate for?

They never mentioned that to me.

Its Sunday and Im counting down the hours. Im up to the hospital by 5 am and surgery at 7. Im getting a little nervous. Anyone else? Wish this was done and over with so I was already on the journey.
