Smaller clothes keeps me motivated !! I will never go back to where i was, i love shopping for cute small clothes, and of course now i have more energy to spend with my kiddos.. I was such a home body alway tired.. Great job on your first 50 !!! Woo hoo !! You go !! I started at 243 and am currently 140-145 from a 16 to a 7 cool huh?? What are your stats.. ok, I think I posted a reply to your messaage on wrong page...c how un savvy I am when it comes to computers!! lol, i was banded in October as well almost 3 years ago, but i got pregnant after loosing my first 50 lbs, so don't know how to really calculate the actual time it took me to get to goal. i love it that you gave yourself this gift... i was self pay, and i tell everybody it was the best invested money i could of spent. it's cool we have the same birthday i bet you are great person just like me ! keep in touch and let me know how your journey is going.

I was banded about 3 years ago, but got pregnant after loosing my first 50 lbs. So I was unfilled for 1 year and a half for pregnancy and gallbladder removal. Are you banded yet? So you are a scorpion too??? Cool, I bet you are a great person, just like me!!LOL !

well i have to look into the support groups, it would be so refreshing to meet with people i can discuss the band with in person and who understands our new languange, (pb'ing, stuck, filled, etc... lol)

No, I havent been to any support groups. I was kinda of a closet bandster per say.. lol! Conroe is such a little town that some of the people that I did discuss this with were very narrow minded so I just kept it to myself. It could of been because at the time I did it, it was not a well known procedure.. now its on tv, billboards and such. Were would you meet at with your support groups?

Im actually past my goal weight. I started out at 243 and currently at 141. My goal weight was 165. After a couple of fills and unfills I am at adequate restriction. Its was a bumpy journey at times, but all well worth it. Good luck and don't give up, as the outcome is well rewarded.
