I have only lost 30 lbs -- Dec 9 2008 was when I was banded -- I have other health issues and can not drink all the fluids -- it is slow and discouraging but I am not gaining

why don't you just tell your school nurse and privacy laws will not allow her to tell anyone else unless you want her too if is of no business to anyone else

I have found that I save a lot of money on food - for one thing I am not eating out and paying for anyone else - I have about $400 a month more -- my children are out of the house and it is my husband and me and 3 pets - I am writing this because you will save money on food especially is you eat out

how much weight have you lose? I have only lost 30lbs in 8 months - I have a small restriction -- 1.5 or something like that

don't do it you have come this far and only have a short time before you can eat foods listen to your doc that is why you go to him/her do as I say; not as I did I ate too early and nothing happened but that may not always be the case

I can eat anything but chewing is the key - oranges do not bother me -- we were told to get a glass of ice with meals and as it melts - drink the melted - just to wet your throat and mouth - I have restaurants bring me a glass of ice in a"to go" glass and then they don't drive your crazy wanting to fill it

I have lost 40 lbs since dec 12 2008 I like my band I can not drink all the fluids due to another health problem - I have very little restriction I eat more than a cup at each meal but I am losing and I love it I can not lose faster than 2lbs a week which is what it comes out too I am on dialysis and have some issues with blood work it I lose more than 2 lbs a week I would have never lost 40 lbs on my own without regaining I love the band and I am happy

my nurse - the doc's wife said to get a glass of ice and as it melts drink it while you eat --- that at least gives you some liquid I have gotten used to not drinking while eating

beer is out but I was told wine and a mixed drink is okay do not mix alcohol with a coke or sprite

maybe she is still in shock from the attack and is afraid to use her real id thanks for sharing that information - maybe if docs here would lower the price of the band patients would not have to go to another country - I love Mexico and will still travel there - had my band done in Houston --- downtown Houston - the crime rate there is also high - I will still travel to Houston also
