Linksys tech support
HH, I am a tech support person, I dealt with Linksys on a professional and consumer level all the time when I was in the industry. It has always been and most likely always will be a /head desk experiance with them until they decide outsourcing isn't the way to go. Personally I prefer Belkin, as my 'personal product' of choice. D-Link is still in its infancy has tons of room for growth, other then that it is a good company. Netgear, I wont touch with a ten foot pole. Microsoft only if I have to (and that was job related so I don't have to anymore). Linksys the only reason I stear clear of the home office products IS because of the tech support. Other then that it is a a good company, as long as you don't ever need to call them. But I got the bad luck draw and got the bad router of the batch. I just want my RMA number so I can send it in and get a new one. Thats all, I am still tussling with them to get the RMA number

BP too high for clearance
I take it you are in banking? Good luck then ... ok seriously though, try meditation. Will be frustrating at first but it really helps. I have been meditating since I was a teenager and I have managed to keep my BP below average. Meditation, steering clear of sodium (you really need to watch the labels on this one they can be deceiving).

who supports right to choose
Don't generalize, I know quite a few pro-choicers like me that were disgusted with what this woman was said to have done.

Employee discount. This could be bad!
Laurend that is me and books, I joke with my hubby all the time that I am gonna start working part time at Barnes and Noble. Of course I would probably be fired with in the week cause all I was doing was reading.

Linksys tech support
*bangs head on desk* Drama alert!! OMG those people are retarded. I have been dealing with them for the last week and all I want is a RMA number to send the router in and get a new one. Not hard, I got the luck of the draw and managed to get the defective router. No big deal you would think ..... Oh no, last week they have been having me do the same things and nada, it does NOT work. But oh no, they wont listen to me, so today they finally escalate the problem to the next level and I am back on hold .... :tt1:   :cursing: I am ready to chuck the phone at the wall and say screw it and just call the 130 spent wasted and go buy a new one.

Sodding Cost?
Yeah what Wheet said, I forgot to mention that home for me is Alaska so the cost up there will be a bit more pricey then most areas.
-
Well don't I feel foolish
Dream, actually it was two totally separate transactions. Just happened to be the same exact amount.

Sodding Cost?
Actually that seems pretty good. My dad priced getting his two lots sodded, and then walked away cause the price he was quoted. One lot is 1/2 acre, the other is 1/4 acre (it might be 1/2 not to sure) but he only wants the back and front sodded because he has the rest landscaped. They wanted 1500 for both lots ... 3k total. He eventually did it all himself and it looks 10 times better then some of the homes in the area that got sodded by that one company.

Free - Puppies in Houston Area
My soft spot has always been children and animals (not always in that order, some kids are just evil lil shits ROFL) I used to foster cats and dogs (mainly mommy's with pups/kittens like you are doing now) I paid out of pocket many times to have full litters spayed and neutered before they were adopted out. I miss doing that but I have a house full of pets as it is right now, one being a special needs dog (he loves other dogs but we don't trust him around them long term). So right now I am concentrating on my pets and family. Good on ya !! I am glad people step up like you are doing.

Well don't I feel foolish
Checking my bank statement online, I noticed two exact (and I mean down to the cents!!) transactions. My mind was like what the hell?!?!? So I called the bank and asked them about it (one was pending so it only said "transaction"). I swear the lady is still laughing at me even though its been 10 minutes since I hung up the phone red faced. Went to lowes (its my toy store, I am a weird woman I know) and got some more lawn care stuff. More seeds for my flower beds etc. Came out to 61.67, checking my bank I saw that amount twice. I was like who the hell is doing this to me?!?! I had forgotten I got two new bras from Fredericks (only online place that has CUTE bra's in my size) and with S&H and Tax it was for the same SAME amount. She looked it up and told me the pending was my new pretties. Talk about red faced . Next time I will wait until its no longer pending so I can see who/what it is from and just dispute it then if its wrong. I am still red in the face over that.:blushing::frown:

Help for daughter's school project
My sons class did this!! Flat Stanley (in his class) went to Alaska (my parents (dad more specifically) and TDY with him to many different places (including Hawai'i scuba diving in his own scuba gear (plastic baggie LOL.)) He went to California with another students grandparents, and Montana with another student on spring break. The 'book' is so cool!!

BMI rant! Overdone, I know.
Darlin my husband feels your pain, so does my B-i-L for that matter. They are both 6'+ and have very muscular builds. I love it every time my DH has to do a weigh in for the AF. At first they tell him "you're over weight" then they actually look at him. They do a tape on him and he is actually "under" by those standards. The BiL is 250 (ish) and he is 6'5" and not an ounce of fat on the man. His doctor told him he needed to lose some weight (it was a new doctor as insurance switched docs) and according to my BiL when he asked and where exactly should it come off of, the doc finally looked at him and went 'oh'....... Honestly I think the BMI charts are antiquated and need to be rethought in a major way. It doesn't take into account body type, build, etc.

Crapola of Clothes For Free!!
You don't have clothing drop bins in your area? We have them all over back home and here. That is odd. Weird request can you snap a pic or two of some of the cloths (that cardigan your talking about sounds like something I have been searching for!!!) I am very tempted but I am a visual creature:lol:

Tricare and PCM
I feel your pain, my old PCM thought he was the specialist for everything  Needless to say when I switched PCMs my new one is great. He referred me right over and has been one of my biggest supporters. If all else fails call and make an appt with another doc out of your team, or another doc on your team. Keep doing that until you get one who will refer you out.

Would be interested in progress pictures?
I am planning of doing that, not weekly though. We (read as my DH and myself) are debating once a month, or twice a month. At first I will be the one recording the progress, then when he gets home he will take that over. I will be recording weight and measurements with each set. I am by far not a professional photographer but its a immense hobby of mine. I love it, and when the weight comes off I hope to expand it.

Surgery 5/2 and SCARED, don't know why?
Everyone who has been or will be banded knows your fear. I am scared but at the same time very calm about my surgery coming up. I am not scared of the procedure itself but of some crazy reaction to the meds they will give me. All you can do is just take a deep breath and tell yourself you will be ok

TBH I think you should report that shelter to the SPCA, most shelters are sponsored partly by them (if this one is an independent one then I could be wrong) but that goes against 100% against SPCA policy.

Free - Puppies in Houston Area
Your shelter doesn't have a foster program??????? The goal of any shelter (SHOULD BE) is to adopt out and find forever homes!!!! The one you have seems to suck pretty bad to put down week old babies....
