  1. I thought I completely went off the rails for my birthday weekend. Didn't log anything, didn't drink a single protein shake, didn't go out of my way to get protein or whatever. Ate a few things that are not on plan, but found I only wanted a couple bites of them. Down 1# after the weekend, so it must not have been too horrible. Now it's Monday and I'm back on track. :)

      glad you enjoyed your b'day - not being diligent about MFP etc - that's ok - you're back to your normal life - belated b'day wishes - happy halloween!

  3. Oh, I hate insurance companies (reimbursement problem, not a problem with the surgery approval or anything... just terribly frustrating)

      There's a statute. You're supposed to hate your insurance companies along with your banks, phone company and utilities. Also most of your municipal gummint depts.

  4. One week out. Working from home is going well. I think I'll be able to handle the office 3 days next week. Finding myself just not hungry, having to set reminders on my phone for drinking and protein and walking around. Which is what I'd hoped for, but it makes it a struggle to get in enough.

      five years out and I still don't get hungry. Once a "routine" for eating/drink gets established it will become easier for you. You're going "Maaavelous, Daaaling". really--great job!

  5. Finally made it to the pool for a good workout.

      Keep it going, its a struggle but worth every minute.

  7. Made it to the gym yesterday with the trainer, I think we over-did the lower body workout, today my knee is killing me. Need to spend more time in the pool.

  8. My previous status should have said 1 week PRE-op down, 5 lbs lost, 1 week to go. 7 days until S-day. :D

  9. Bad fatigue and brain fog day. Want to sleep, but am at work and when I get home I have grad school homework.

  11. Day 2 pre-op. Yesterday went pretty good. Learned a lot, made some not-great-but-not-horrible choices. Today will be better.

  12. Preop Day 3 was good. Managed to make good choices eating out even. Now for the weekend.
