  1. Any word on Ms. Joy? My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kendra
  2. My doctor was Dr. Frank Veninga. Thanks to this staff and their thorough paperwork and questions, I was approved on my first attempt. I can't say enough good things about them. North Texas Bariatric & General Surgery 4333 N. Josey Lane Plaza II - Suite 207 Carrollton, Texas 75010 PH 972.939.8218 FX 972.395.1789 website http://www.bariatricsurgerydallas.com/index.html
  3. I feel your pain. I was on Optifast for 2 weeks before surgery. It helped me to drink a cup of hot beef or chicken broth in the evenings as well. You might try mixing a can of V-8 with the beef broth. I also had sugar free popsicle sometimes. I know it is tough right know but after the first week, it seemed to get better. I felt like it got me mentally ready for after surgery. The liquid diet after surgery wasn't nearly as hard for me to follow. During the second week, I also started to see some weight loss which was a big boost for me. Hang in there and good luck to you. It is definitely worth it in the long run!!
  4. Very impressive. Talk about a great NSV!!

  6. You are such a graceful lady and one who I have always looked to on this board. I'm not a huge poster but I read almost everyday and I can truly say that you will be missed. May The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.
  7. I'm glad you are here and best of luck to you!

  9. I am tight also in the mornings and drink a shake. I've heard many people say that they drink a cup of hot tea first which helps open things up.

  20. I like Body Fortress Vanilla from Wal Mart. One scoop has 20grams of protein. I mix it with reduced calorie Tropicana Orange juice and it tastes like an Orange Julias. The really great thing is that you get a big container for only $12.00.
  21. I'm glad everything went well for you. Sounds like you have a good man. Let him pamper you.
