LOSING TOO MUCH WEIGHT!

Fat Shaming Husband...so hurt
I'm sorry to hear about this. I am a Christian woman and I believe in having a godly marriage. I would bring all this to the Lord in prayer and I certainly would bring scripture to his attention of how a man should treat his wife. Christ would not treat His bride in this manner!! And it needs to addressed and dealt with, however, if it continues, then get out! God does not want us abused and unhappy! I will keep you in my prayers!

Stretched Sleeve
I did a bunch of research on the sleeve because I was considering it. I found out that their were a lot of people who got the sleeve and complained of weight gain 3 years out. Most doctors said it was due to stretching of the stomach. So you are not alone! I'm sorry to hear about your struggle. Just remember how much you have lost instead of the little you've gained. Stay positive and keep us updated!

Weight loss
I'm only 100lbs overweight and I wouldn't mind losing 110 total. But I am curious on how quick you lose if you only need to lose 100lbs? I know it depends on the person. I am concerned that it'll be a lot slower than some of the others who have to lose 170+. Is there anyone out there who only needed to lose 100lbs?

TRICARE! PLEASE HELP
I have Tri Care west and it was easy. Mostly if you're PCM is saying you need it and you are at leat 100lbs overweight they'll approve you! I do not have to do any weight loss prior to surgery either. Soooo it should be the same for you. Best of luck to you!

Help
I should note my insurance doesn't require any weight loss before surgery. The Bariatric place, however, has said they would like to see some kind of weight loss and they can choose not to do the surgery. :-( No, they just want to see an effort made.

Help
No, I'm have the roux en y so they haven't put me on a liquid diet. But I'm willing to do whatever, safely! Because I don't want them to choose not to do the surgery simply b/c I only lost a lb or nothing :-(

Help
So I got approved and scheduled... Yay! However, I was told the approval process will take 3 weeks and the surgery wouldn't be scheduled until at least a month from the approval day. I thought, OK, well, I have 2 months before I see my surgeon again. I started my diet and exercise, then my birthday came. It was a whole weekend celebration so everything went out the door for almost 5 days. (I'm completely back on track now). I was approved in a week and scheduled for Feb 15th. I see my surgeon in one week and I want to show at least a 5lb loss. What do I do to speed up my weight loss? Please help!!

Surgery Scheduled
I will have my surgery on Feb. 15th, 2016. I'm nervous and excited, mainly excited though!

Is it worth it?
The only person that can answer this....is you. You know your medical hx and/or problems. Think about it this way: your body is ALREADY altered from what it's supposed to be. You are carrying too much weight and that complicates a myriad of conditions/symptoms. It comes down to a risk/benefit scenario that only you can decide to be worthy. A common theme found here is apprehensions pre-op. However, as people tell their story you will see how those apprehensions were overcome. Wow...loved this! You are completely right, thank you! Thank you to everyone. This has certainly encouraged me! Love this app!

Yeah, I'm thankful to have a helping hand in losing weight and maintaining the weight!

Is it worth it?
Thank you so much for your reply.

Is it worth it?
My doubts are more about whether or not doing something so extreme to my body is going to be worth it! I do believe this is the best weight loss option for me considering my medical issues. I'm just nervous about altering my body in such a drastic way. Does anyone else have these feelings?

Tri Care
I'm waiting on my authorization from Tri-care before I schedule my surgery. I know some reservations are normal. Please, let me know I'm not the only one on here.
