How is everyone doing? It has been radio silent on this page for a while. We are coming up on three months and I have lost 50lbs. Wish it was more but you know slow and steady wins the race.

Happy two month surgaversary!!!!!

It didn't thank goodness! I mean I looked seven months pregnant. Lol he had me do a version of the preop colon cleanse and it helped a lot.Wow. So your being encouraged to eat veggies and less protien! Hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Soooooo, Friday I woke up and my belly was so distended I looked pregnant! Went to see my surgeon and was informed that my gallbladder didn't like all the Protein I was eating. He recommended I incorporated leafy greens and more fat of all things. He told me to do a little cleanse for a day and I will be all good. All the bloating is gone.

I MISS COFFEE!!! Just throwing that out there... Lol

I went back to the gym yesterday after almost a year absence. I have been walking/jogging since surgery so in some aspects it's like I haven't left. Debating on getting a trainer...
-
I stalled also. I didn't know if it was from the Constipation issue but I have gone past both now. I discovered if I added a little more fat to my diet I became "regular" again. I went out for the first time last Wednesday with some friends and it was harder than I thought it would be. I love my Irish whiskey and beer, and not being able to have any for a while kinda kills me.How are yall doing? I stalled for a while and I think it's cause my calorie intake was too low. I'm not being quite so strict on it now. Plus it helps that I found some AMAZING protien bars

Pardon me if this is a little too much, but has anyone been really constipated? lol I have tried everything... Stool softeners, laxatives, tea. Only have a BM about once a week. I don't have a blockage or anything of the sort (Dr at work checked me out). I've heard the sleeve drastically changes your regularity but darn it. lol

I have had Fat Free Ritz crackers and haven't had a problem. You just have to make sure you chew very, very well.

Hopefully this meal prep helps me get in what they recommend for soft solids. I hope I can get it all in. The emergency room is very hectic so I have to make time to eat... ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1458840746.143355.jpg
Now THAT is impressive! What is the green left, the white and the brown on the right? And what kind of meat is that? I am still on purees. Can't wait to be pas this part.Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Why thank you! I work 15 hour days overnight so eating all what I a supposed to is really hard. The green stuff is hummus. Than in the middle is chicken salad made with low fat mayo. The little container at the bottom with chicken strip looking this is a Beyond meat dish. Beyond Meat is a faux meet product made of soy and pea Proteins (really tastes like chicken. texture and everything). Its killer good and has 25g of Protein per 4oz. And than the brown stuff is a Mexican chicken dish I made in the crockpot with kidney, black Beans, onion, red/green pepper and chipotle sauce. Nice soft high Protein meals. Oh and I found those little Babybell cheese wheels and two strawberries make a wonderful snack.< /p>

I haven't really had cravings, but today I would kill for a Cuban sandwich and a deviled crab... wonder what they would taste like blended down lol

I went back to my full time job on Thursday, and my little part time gig las Tuesday. I tell ya, getting back into the swing of things and 14 hour ER shifts was tough. Especially when you really don't have time to take breaks to eat or drink anything. By last night it was better. I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well!

Kinda. Things blenderized to just a little thicker than baby food texture. Mashed potatoes, refried Beans. That kinda thing. They said I could have soft scrambled eggs but ugh. I never have had indigestion and this was bad lol
Since surgery?! Thats impressive! I've only done about 15lbs myself. Way to freaking go!I had my two week post op appointment and I'm happy to say I've lost 27.8 lbs
Is mushies like puree?Started in mushies today! Super excited. I did learn my new stomach does NOT like soft scramble eggs.. Ouy!

And a nice big juicy hamburger! Lol I've done very well not having to take pain meds but today was way different..@@Chair1311 I feel your pain. I have a mirena so my periods are very random..... well it just so happened that my body decided to start my period on saturday. Of course I've wanted nothing but chocolate since :/
-
I know this might me too much information but starting your period only a week after surgery is not fun. Did so well yesterday. Today not so much

I was ok once i was at the Hopsital on IV and their foods like teas and Jello and broth and also icy but now the biggest challenge is trying to continue the same routine that I was on at the hospital I've been drinking so much Water and today i was starving. Even when i drank tea I was still hungry. Trying to drink 2-3 ounces is so hard it was a lot easier in the hospital. Monday they put me on Proteins right now I'm struggling I get light headed and try to walk and keep active but I get tired easily I guess it's cause I'm on this liquid dietI found it much easier to get the fluids in at the hospital too. At home, I worked really hard yesterday and I was only able to get 41 ounces
Thts a great idea well today i saw my doctor she started me on Protein shakes I have to drink a shake every 2 1/2 hours and it's so hard right now I'm hungry ugh it's so hard. At least I lost 16 pounds. That would have been a struggle for me without the sleeve
16 pounds so far is awesome!! I have lost 12 so far. How about everyone else?
I feel like once I start eating solids I may gain a pound just because there will be food in my stomach but I'm good with that.
Feeling great today and Water and broth is going down so much easier today than in the past. I start work again on Thursday but from home for a week instead of the office. I'm already restless. If I was off any longer I would be working on home repairs and probably hurt myself.
Im at just over 10 lbs so far! Getting all the water in is still a challenge. Working on it though. Found if I mixed my s/f chocolate pudding with the vanilla powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury powder and freezing it make for a lovely treat. Getting super tired of the shakes though. Glad everyone seems to be doing well!

No he didn't. It's not terribly bad. If it persists I will ask him at my follow up appointment next week. It really only happens when "Audrey" is hungry lolDid your doctor prescribe you any sort of reflux medicine? If not, you might want to call them. I like it! Your sleeve is officially the Audrey 2!
-
It's been four days since my surgery. I have been home since Thursday. Today was the only day I woke up in a little bit of pain but not much. It has been harder than I thought it would be to take in the required liquids and such, but I'm doing it. Kinda get this reflux thing when my new stomach is empty and its hungry. Lol It like the plant from Little Shop of Horrors; "Feed me Seymour"! I hope everyone is doing well.

Had my surgery yesterday. Let me tell ya it was rough! Today is much much better. If y'all haven't had it done yet ask for the anti-nausea patch for behind your ear. Works wonders! I have been up waking around like an Olympic athlete. Able to tolerate Water and a bit of Jello. Hope everyone is doing well!

Had all my preop testing today. Now time for the dreaded cleanse.... Super excited (nervous) about tomorrow!!!
