  1. You're so cute lol!!!. Looks fun!
  2. Ohhhh good point on tracking everything! I had surgery on April 1- so literally just 3 months out This stall is so discouraging!
  3. I've read about the 3 week stall and even a 6 month stall. Anyone stuck/been stuck on a 3 month stall? I'm going into the 4th week of this stall with my weight fluctuating up and down 2-4 ounces. No changes in body measurements either. Protein goals and water goals met. Not sure what else I can do other than ride this out. All suggestions welcome!
  4. I don't do social media at all other than Pinterest (does hat really count!?) and k love your idea! I hope it goes just as you planned!
  5. I went alone and woke up alone. It really wasn't a big deal. I had my phone to keep my husband updated but otherwise his job was to stay with the kids and keep their routine normal. He came and picked me up the next day because even if they allowed it, I would t have even wanted to drive myself anywhere.
  6. I really love the brownie crunch Think Thin bars!!
  7. I do the gummy vitamins at Costco. Vita fusion. They're tolerable. Plus I take iron. I worry that they may constipated me but I only go once a week anyway so we will see...
  8. I had my blood levels checked. I knew I am anemic and had been taking a Vitamin with Iron but apparently it wasn't enough. In just 2 days I upped just my iron intake and WOW! I feel more awake. I take a b complex daily and have started the gummy Vitamins, so maybe all this is making a difference. But I'd attribute it to the iron. I agree that being positive about stuff is important and I generally am, and that helps immensely with mood!
  9. Something you both point out that I never considered is that I struggle getting in all my vitamins. They nauseate me- I've gone through 3 different types now all with the same results.
  10. I'm 6 weeks post op and have lost 19.5 pounds (was on the lower end at the start-221.8). I can usually manage to reach my protein goal daily and get in exercise and whatnot, but I don't feel all this energy people talk about. I am looking forward to that feeling!! Why do you think that is? Is anyone else going thru this?
  11. Ohhh yea- kohls!
  12. Great suggestions! I'll have to check out the good will. I just have to be in the mood for that. Maybe Macy's on a clearance sale is a good idea too. Definitely need a smaller bra and that's not such a bad thing!
  13. I need to shop for a few things- I'm about a month post-op. I'm not quite ready for Forever 21 lol but I don't fit into Lane Bryant much anymore. I went from a 20 to a 14/16 pretty quickly. Plus i don't want to spend a lot since I plan to keep losing and don't want to invest in good clothes just get. Where are you all shopping these days?
  14. Try the Think Thin bars- my fave is the brownie crunch. They are really good!
  15. I also have chosen to keep my business my own. When taking time off work and away from normal activities, I simply explained that I was treating my endometriosis (which has been an ongoing issue for me) and left it at that. Nobody wants to elaborate on that anyway. It's not a lie- I really do have that. It's just my way of doing things my way.
  16. I am 10 days post-op and my incisions are really itchy. There seems to be some sort of rash around the incisions and they almost look like hives. I know that itchy incisions could mean they're healing but the itch is almost unbearable and the rash is throwing me off... Has anyone had his? What could it be?
  17. Just focus on things one hour at a time. Don't think about what if this or what if that. Just one hour at a time. Do what you can. Worrying yourself will cause unnecessary stress on your healing body.
  18. Me too!!! I have my pre-op on the 16th so I'll find out about any special diet then. Super excited!
  19. I finished in September. Had some other external stuff happening so I got around to the surgeon a few weeks ago and called for my appointment. The scheduler is super nice though!
  20. Called today for appointment at west LA Kaiser and they are booking for mid May... I hope you get in sooner on a cancellation!
