  1. I think I'm driving the people crazy I have called them every day since the paperwork was submitted it's been pending everyday yesterday I finally got a tracking number so I'm guessing they're actually looking at it now. When did you find out about your approval? Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  2. Congratulations on the approval at this point I'd be grateful for that. So what's the next move is your surgeon covered just not the facility? If that's the case as your surgeon operate at any other facility? Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  3. I call every single day today I finally got a number so I guess it's officially being reviewed because they have assigned it like the ticket number Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  4. Anyone got any news yes Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  5. I'm playing the waiting game now as well today makes day 5. And they don't show it online so I can only find out by calling, waiting on a letter in the mail or when the scheduler calls me . Needless to ay I am super polite but I call them every day.
  6. Congrats @NWB8 Do you mind if not here than via pm sharing your appeal letter? Thinking positive of course I'm hoping its not needed but Aetna received my request on Monday, and its currently still pending. on one of my nutritionist visits(not on of my regular weigh ins) I went up 1lb then by my actual weigh in I was down 7lbs...not sure if that other visit counts at all but a tad bit concerned. I was hoping for a May date but as my surgeons schedule is filling fast if I can get approve in the next few days I can at least get an early June date
  7. @ have you called to confirm that Aetna received your request ?
  8. Oh so we should be on the same waiting schedule Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  9. So glad I found this post. My last appointment was 4/29 Aetna received my paperwork 5/2 im waiting . Thanks for the info @pickrere here I was starving myself before every visit case I as told by Aetna that not one lb could be gained
  10. I have Aetna as well on Friday I just finished my 90 day program I'm now waiting for the office to submit Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  11. Not sure about your specific insurance company with mine you have to have surgery within 6 months of the approval Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah the rules are all over the place mine doesn't require to lose weight but you can't gain 1 pound they do suggest that you lose 10% of your excess body weight Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  13. I don't know if it's Aetna requirements or the surgeon I would call and ask your doctor's office. For me I'm not even allowed to do the liquid diet I would have to do 2 shakes one meal and then liquid for only the 48 hours prior to the procedure because they don't want me to lose anymore weight Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk I think some people are concerned about not getting paid which is silly because if you get pre-authorization go weight on the day of surgery should not matter at least that's how I look at it but I'm going to do what they told me to do Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  14. It's very annoying I think trying to maintain a BMI is crazy definitely Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  15. i have been holding on to a 41 bmi for 2 months, ugh paperwork should be submitted by tuesday. Also frustrated i wanted to hit onderland before surgery but was told at my last appointment surgery will be cancelled the day of if my bmi is to low, and all my weights are submitted because Aetna requires no weight gain so they have to see the progress through the 90 days
  16. Update 216 was the number to beat... 214 today.. They should submit by Monday Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  17. I have taken the dreaded underwear pics, I emailed them to myself and tucked them away in a folder and deleted them off my phone.ASAP
  18. @@Dub thanks again I needed a little happiness today. BTW I see that you have lost big in a short time, great work!!!! Hopefully by this time next month I'll be singing....HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIIIDDDDEEE!!!!
  19. @@Dub lol @your daily scale fix. I think it would be nice to step on the scale and actually like the number it displays. I cant wait!!!!
  20. Good luck , please update me , when you are approved. Hearing other approvals make me smile. I submit on Monday.
  21. I thought it was the lack of food making me read to much into it
  22. You got snarky when I clarified why I posted this article I found about scales. But since I'm already starving myself and to make sure I get an approval and it is making me crazy(hence why I said if you knew). Which was surprising the VIP's and Vets are usually pretty helpful. But I guess wls is no different than anything else when someone has succeeded, they often forget how hard it is for people just starting.
  23. Yeah I can tell you're so supportive. Everyone's journey is different and I'm entitled to go through mine and if I'm not at the point where the scale no longer bothers me then fine I'm okay with that I haven't had surgery yet currently going through the insurance hoops so for me it does rule my entire life. for me the number on the scale is the difference between an approval and a denial Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  24. It was just a fun thing I found, if you knew my struggle this week you would get it.. my last weigh-in is tomorrow and I've been freaking out about how scales fluctuate so much it's caused Great concern for me all week and that's why I posted this Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
